    You have to get your ballot notarized? I'm sure glad that's not a requirement in these parts.

    No mail in ballots here. There is absentee ballots which I think have to be notarized, but you have to have a legitimate excuse for that and request it well in advanced.

    Howdy random folks. I just got done with my workout, 45 minutes on the bike, just under 9.25 miles. I didn't realize that I could change the intensity of the workout and had it on level 1 the other day. I put it up to level 3 today and it was more challenging but still not quite to the level of the treadmill.

    Mine was an absentee ballot. There was no way I was standing in line for hours to vote this time like I did four years ago. I went to vote.org and requested the ballot.

    Can't say I blame you. Fortunately, I live in a small town and have never had to wait. In fact, it is usually easier for me to vote on election day than to vote early. In Texas, only the following reasons can be used for absentee ballots, and you have to request in advance:

    • be 65 years or older;
    • be sick or disabled;
    • be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
    • be expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day; or
    • be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.

    Good morning hitt. :) They keep you busy with the reviews still.
    I did have a nice long break after breaking ties with Voopoo. Good thing too or I’d have another one right now. Oxbar sends stuff usually 1-2 times a year so it’s not a big deal and disposable reviews are usually easier to do. After testing them then I give them to a coworker usually to help him out.

    That's nice of you to give them away.

    Good morning random folks. I got my workout done early today, 45 minutes on the bike, 9+ miles. In an hour, I have to go set up for a reception, which my ladies group is holding tomorrow and I won't be able to go to, because I'll be working.

    Morning, mixers.

    Nice weather continues here, temps in the mid 60s, rain here and there :)

    It's a lot easier in Maine.

    Many years back, after a few election cycles in "my" county that were ONLY mail/drop off ballots (although walk in on election day still available), the whole State of WA went that way. Spearheaded by our then Republican Secretary of State. Love it. Sit down with the voter's pamphlets and ballot, mark it up, drop it off. Or mail it in, but drop boxes conveniently places. No muss, no fuss. And a paper trail. Voting should be easy. Eligibility verified when registering. Signature on the outer envelope so we prefer the drop boxes. No need for anyone other than election workers to look at that ;)
