It sounds like you had a pretty good haul!

I did fine, some clothes, AAA renewal, and a bit of $ for this and that are the main things.
I don't care how old I get. I'm still a kid at heart when it comes to Chrismas time.

I got a percussion massager with five attachments, a gap 1/4 zip shirt, a cool charging base for my Apple Watch, a fold up work table that I can put my mitre saw on, universal oil filter wrenches, and my youngest made a big box of cookies. Half lemon shortbread dipped in chocolate and half gingerbread. There were a few other small snack items. Now the outlaws will be here soon for dinner and gift exchange.

Cool. Sounds like helpful stuff. Plus good cookies.

Went to a GD place for a giant present opening session and watched the 1 year old who is on the verge of walking. He can take a couple of steps if you hold his hands. Four of the five grandchildren were there, one is in Florida. He works for Amazon and gets mega bucks for working over Christmas. Watched a Christmas movie. We ate scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. GD doesn't cook much that doesn't arrive frozen and heat up the MW.

It's the time of year to remember the immortal words of Bart Simpson.

"It's a sad reflection on the commercialization of our society. We've forgotten the real meaning of Christmas, Santa Claus's birthday."

Yum! Do you make them from scratch?
Yes but use the bread machine to make it easier for the kneading dough part. Then I prepare them, let them rise and bake them.
