Good morning, hitt.:) Have a safe ride to work and back.
The drive to work was horrible. Almost none of the roads were treated. Most were icy. I slid probably 75ft trying to stop at a light and was only going 25 when I saw the light start to change.

    Morning, mixers.

Scattered rain yesterday, claim is we're done with that for a bit. Overnight down to 37 here, back to low/mid 50s.

Howdy random folks. I got some good news. My main mortgage application for a slightly used double wide mobile home was approved, and it only took them an hour to do so. I'm still waiting for the approval for the down payment assistance. I'm going down to Houston on Monday to look at it. My mother said that I can put it on her land.

    Glad there was no damage.

Good news, bad news. Bad news is that I couldn't get approved for the down payment assistance for my new home, as they won't finance a manufactured home that is not on its original site. The one that I'm looking at is a repo, so it has been moved. The good news is that mom is selling her motor home tomorrow and can lend me the money. So therefore, I have all the financing arranged. Next step is to go and look at it, which I will do on Monday. If mom gets paid for the motor nome right away, then I will be going down there, near Houston, with down payment in hand.

Good luck! I hope it goes as planned.

Work is dead. I don’t know what’s going on. This is usually the start of my busy season. Hopefully things pick up soon. I’m going to be looking for something to do tomorrow. Friday I have calibrations scheduled that will take all day and will probably have to go back a second day.

Ordered a new garage freezer, due to arrive on Friday. Been prevaricating, looking at different models and overdosing on reviews. But yesterday fridges and freezers appeared on a list of items that were likely to be hit by the tariffs and jump in price so I went for it.

I'm getting bored with my mixes. 4 that I enjoy and 4 that are sort of OK. That's after a burst of experimenting last year. And I'm tired of spending hours refilling and mixing and wicking. I've seen quite a few posts on ECF recently from people talking about ditching the old timey stuff and moving to pods. I'm not there yet but I can see the attraction. Right now I reckon maybe drop down to four setups and 4 flavors. Always figured I would vape til I died but maybe that won't happen. Or maybe I've just got the winter blues.

I understand and get like that sometimes. My daily vapes have transitioned mostly to drop in coil tanks. I don’t do a lot of building any more. I just got tired of constantly rebuilding. I’ll get on a kick once in awhile and work on a new recipe but am not regularly trying to come up with new stuff.

    Morning, mixers.

Rain is off the schedule until Saturday, but still overcast. Maybe some sun breaks.

Similar for me, although I do still occasionally mix something new, usually from ELR cruising. But mostly old standbys that have been good for years. And I do have a few "one shot" bottles that I've collected over the years that are ok, and of course easy to "mix."
