I went to Meijers this afternoon. The wife got a sudden urge for French Chocolate Cream Pie that couldn't wait until tomorrow. There was a rainstorm going on. She googled it and found the one
shop in town that had it in stock. Spent 20 minutes searching then called her. She had forgotten to mention that they sold it under a different name.
I never
shop at the big stores on a weekend. They're always overcrowded and hostile. Frustrated people going fast and running into each other. Wife was in a good mood when I got back with the pie though.
I also got 4 extra large tubs of coffee to put in my new freezer. Apparently that keeps it fresh. They said this morning on TV that coffee would be one of the first items to react to the tariffs. There's already a shortage and rising prices. Expect panic buying and shortages imminently.
