I'm munching on a snack that I had thought up many years ago. Several years before, I had been at a party where on each table there were bowls of plain m&ms mixed with peanuts to snack on and it was delicious. Fast forward to my days as a Girl Scout leader and I was helping to set up an autumn themed party and I remembered the m&ms and peanuts. I switched out the m&ms for reeses pieces to match the autumn themed colors. That was even better than the original.

Have you any plans today?Today is the first day of vacation Bible school. Again. I'm teaching 5th graders to make rosaries, but this year, instead of the plastic and string type, I've donated supplies for the kids to make regular chain rosaries.
Day 1 of VBS is in the bag. The kids did really well, and got further along with their rosaries than I had planned.

our central AC has been going for days now
'perhaps' it wouldn't have been so bad if there woulda been a buildup from like 70s, 80s to 90+
ummm no, 90's+ still sucks
going from upper 60s and low 70s to freakin' 90+ --- IN A DAY --- is a total body shock
whacked out weather.......... it's the new worldly norm........
i really feel bad for all the critters, as they never had a say in the global mess one species alone is directly responsible for
sad thing, that one species has yet to realize the interdependent Nature of all Life on Earth
anywho........ not much new here...... no new mixes....... mostly mixing ones i've previously created with some changes........ yadda-yadda
i still get out in Nature every day....... with the heat, i head out before and/or after Sol rises/sets
other than that.........
livin' life as it unfolds, taking whatever comes and ya know, dealing w/it all
what more can anyone do
brings to mind the question:
"Is the glass half full or half empty?"
unsurprisingly most choose half full for their answer
for my answer, i went with neither
why?
because in truth............ "the glass is refillable"
unless someone breaks it
but....... if it's a Tupperware mug it is virtually indestructible ( under normal circ. )
ah heck, what do i know
seems like the older i get the less i know
and that's okay, probably even be a good thing ( it is )
