Grandson is visiting. He's shipping out to Japan next week on a three year deployment and isn't planning to come back to the US during that time. Still using Lost Mary disposables. He mentioned the numbers and it's a convenient but expensive way to vape. At least compared to the way people here do it.

Asked him about vaping in Japan, He said it's legal to vape but you can't buy them. The base shop sells a very small and crappy selection of disposables. You can order them from abroad though. Seems a very odd system. Legal to vape and import gear, but not legal to buy in the country.

He's 8 years in at the moment. Was planning the bail out at 10 years last time I saw him but now he's decided to go for the 20. They do look after those guys. He's been saving money good. His plan is in three years when he comes back to the US he will buy a house near the base, apparently the military pays his mortgage. He will pay extra and by the time he hits 20 years he should have it all paid off. Then he can go wherever he wants and buy a house for cash. He's a staff sergeant now and runs a high tech maintenance operation for planes, which buys him a good career path when he gets out.

When he first moved in with us 10 years ago he was doing dead end jobs in fast food and sitting around in his room in the garage getting stoned. Guess he did good.

    Good luck with the mowing.
It was 83 when I started and 90 when I finished. At least there was some breeze.

If I had it to do over again, I would have stayed in for 20 and had a pension at 38. I had a good friend in there that retired out and he’s doing great.

What’s everyone up to today? I’m going to go over to my daughters apartment and install the missing cam lock screws on her cabinet that I ordered.
After doing the stupid Superior Court Jury thing 4 times I finally got one accepted. I have my excusals going to the court now. So glad to get that done

The only 4mm cam lock screws I could find for the cabinet ended up being too small on the threaded end so I filled the holes with wood putty and screwed them in. It said to wait 24-48 hours for it to cure so I’ll have to go back again and see if it’s strong enough to lock in the cams. Would have been so much easier if they had just shipped the right amount of screws with the cabinet.

Sorry you couldn't get the right ones.
