    Sounds good.
I had to end up baking the casserole longer so just finished the steaks. I did a sear in a cast iron skillet and finished them in the oven. I’m letting them rest so I’m taking a vape break.

It was pretty good. The steak could have used more salt and pepper. I’m always afraid I’m going to over season them.

Guess no one has plans today.
Hi, Fran, hoping all is well there

    Feeling a bit mopey today.
Hard boiled some eggs that were getting near the use by date, might mix up some egg salad for sandwiches later.
Sat outside a little this morning for a bit of squirrel therapy - one of the greys actually took an almond from my hand and touched my finger with a paw.
I have some work tomorrow and the new washer should be coming on Wednesday.

We tried that once, fed them peanuts. After a while they got comfortable and ate them from our hands. In the end they just got aggressive, if we sat down on the bench on the deck they would run up our legs. We stopped feeding them then.

I met a vaper in real life for the first time in years. I was at a restaurant with some of the wife's friends that wasn't much fun and went outside for a vape. There was a guy out there vaping, old guy about my age. He said he was down to one setup, he filled it up in the morning and it lasted through the day. He told me what his setup was but I can't remember, just a small stainless tank. He had been vaping for over 10 years and was close to quitting.

He told me one odd thing I never heard of before. Early on when he had the vaping bug he said he had two of everything. For each flavour he had two identical setups so he never ran out. Asked him if he got on any forums and he said he had never been on one.

I guess we probably all had some eccentric habits back then.
