Good evening. Work was tough today. A customer had a gas powered welder slide off the back of their service truck. I had to take it completely apart and reassemble it on a new base. One of my least favorite jobs.

I had work today and then have been going through some of Mom's things.
I'm doing okay I guess.
I have work Thursday and probably Friday to help keep me occupied so that is good.
No new mixes since the other day, wrote one up then lost my inspiration and didn't mix up a tester. I still have plenty of stuff to vape yet so I'm really in no hurry.

It is probably the longest job that I do. I had six hours on it today and have some finishing touches to do tomorrow.
Yes. I quoted nine hours plus parts on the job. I was kinda surprised that they wanted to do the repair but a new one is around 7500 so I came in less than half on the quote.
Yesterday my wife came across some of her mother's old recipes. There was one for vegetable soup made with soup bones. That was from when the wife was a kid, money was scarce and beef was expensive. Luckily we have a real butcher shop nearby so this morning I went out there and got a couple of big soup bones. Really simple recipe, potatoes, beans, peas, carrots, tomatoes, corn, and the bones, all slow cooked together in a big cast iron pot. It was delicious, meat flavor but no meat.
Those old recipes are good sometimes. Super cheap to make. Throw in whatever you happen to have around. Maybe that kind of food will get popular again with inflation and shortages and so forth.
