Good morning random folks. We're supposed to get above freezing today, 40⁰. I'm currently thawing out my truck to go run an errand. The errand could wait, but I want to go out. I was going to shovel some of the frozen snow off my steps and from my front door, which i still can't get out of, but the doors to the shed are frozen shut and I can't get to the shovel.

Nothing above freezing for us for 10 days. Just BRRRRRSo much for getting out. Even though the truck starts, the ice won't let me back out of the driveway. I'll try again this afternoon once things have melted a bit.

Our winter has been a strange one, before Christmas it was rain or strong wind, we had a frosty night that was it. The birch trees had a layer of slime on the tree, it was so damp. Only once in my life has winter been like this.
In total I went to the forest with Øsa 6 times, she is used to about 30 times, so that was what the weather was like.
Now we have winter, but we are halfway through the season.

Partial success. The truck is still stuck, although if I really needed to get out, I could put kitty litter under the tires. I dont feel like wasting Misty's litter for that. The shed has thawed out and I was able to get the shovel and clear the back steps enough that I can use them safely. The front steps, which has less sun exposure are rock solid.
Speaking of Misty, I just got done clipping her claws, which she hates. I have to put her in this mesh drawstring bag designed for restraining cats. However, she gets a Delectable cat treat afterwards.

Good evening. Work was pretty chaotic today. Not a bad day but busy for sure. I mixed another 50ml of the lemon cookie recipe I’ve been using. I’m pretty boring when it comes to mixing lately. I haven’t tried to come up with a new recipe in months.
I forgot that the new season of the rookie started and saw an ad for it. I had it recorded so I’m a few episodes behind.
