I got Torrone not knowing what it was. Searching it I found the candy with orange. That's as far as I've gone with it. It's been one of my usuals since.

Orange (FA) 6%
Torrone (FA) 1%

I want to try a different orange like Mandarin and don't know if I should add some chocolate or just keep getting that into the mix when I swap between it and Orange Tootsie.
FA mandarin is slightly tart and has some zing to it as a snv but settles nicely without fade. VTA mandarin is a softer slightly sweeter mandarin. I enjoy both but use them differently and also paired occasionally. SC mandarin falls in the middle of the previous two, nice and juicy medium flavor. The VTA is the only one I get no pith or peel notes from. The other two I do get some zest with a touch of pith on the exhale as singles.

My Black Tea,Green Tea and Jasmine are all FA. I don't have Condensed Milk but I have TFA Dairy Milk.
You could probably add a couple drops of a plain cheesecake no graham to a plain cream or milk and mimic condensed milk Fran. If you have a dry cheesecake that would be better. Or if you have HS Italian cream even better.

My BCF order has shipped. Now looking for ideas for the Pink Gauva
I would advise a single tester first. Would be nice to add to one of the basil or gin mixes. I like it with lime, but not with lemon. Good with plain orange or blood orange, not with mandarin or tangerine. Nice with apple but not grape or pear. Would be good with teas as well I think. I'm wanting to try it with pomegranate and plum both. It is an odd flavor to work with.

Also best uses for TFA Smooth.
I use TFA-Smooth, the same as @dc99 described:
TFA smooth has uses. Its a lot like MTS vape wizard in that it can take sharpness out of a mix.
    In my experience:
It is good for softening sharp/harsh notes. It can also be useful for taming(muting?) high notes and allowing background notes to come through better. Comparing it to FA-MTS vape Wizard is pretty solid (though I don't know if it uses the same taste bud receptor "novocain" principle).

It has no sweetness of its own; but it can allow preexisting sweetness to stand out more, as it dampens the sharp notes.

I used it a fair amount, during my early days of mixing, when my flavor stash was more limited. But, as my stash grew, I found that I could get similar/better results by using a different concentrate, and/or adjusting flavor percentages.

More recently; I find less use for it. It can still be useful, as a band-aid of sorts, to resurrect/redeem a "less than ideal" experiment. It is less of a go-to ingredient; and more of a last-resort rescue ingredient.

I do still like to have it available in my stash. As, it can give a second chance to disappointing concentrate; or help make a concentrate more versatile.
    :)

Has anyone used FA Liquid Amber? looking for opinions on flavor and uses. Sub for Cactus?

Also best uses for TFA Smooth.

Liquid Amber is that magic something used in the right mix. One example I haven't tried but have read about is that is "cooks" tart cranberry and makes is more jellied or saucelike. It can be used as a sub for FA Brandy if you want a lighter alcohol flavor. It "ferments" fruits, particularly apples, turning them into cider. Magical. In the wrong mix, not so much! :D

My grandchildren have exhausted me today. Just getting ready for the pool took an hour (I am out of practice.) We spent about 3 hours there and they have eaten everything in sight since we got back - and they are tiny little things too. Swimming is hungry work. Is it too early to put them to bed? LOL

    What percentage for the tester?
