Sounds good,HittI know I'm pretty new to this thread but Happy Birthday Natasha.
I'm really enjoying reading all of the posts here. I think I'm going to go ahead and mix up a couple fruit/pudding base mixes when I get home from work tonight.

Sounds good,HittHope you like your mixes.
Sounds like a good ideaI'm also thinking of substituting in some of the fruit flavors I got into the yogurt recipe I posted. I like how the yogurt recipe has a thick mouth feel to it.
I haven’t tried the blackberry blossom tester yet. I’m doing a long steep with daily shakes. It called for 24 hours on a stir plate, which I don’t have. What I read about it wasn’t encouraging. Several people said it reminded them of cat urine. Not exactly what I’m going for in a vapeThis is just my wishlist at this time. I will delete some and possibly add back or add others. I just know it won't be the same by the time I order. The teas are staying though. The Blackberry Blossom probably won't make it and the FW White Grape will probably get the ax because I have Pur White Grape.

Definitely think I’ll add almond to the wish list. Looks worth a try, especially if it brings down the sweetApparently... "There’s nothing quite like almond to cut the natural sweetness of a tropical fruit such as coconut or a fall favorite such as apple.” 3 paragraph description of an almond flavor: 1st para, 2nd to last line...
Almond Flavor Concentrate
I'll give it a shot with one of the 4 Almonds I have.Definitely think I’ll add almond to the wish list. Looks worth a try, especially if it brings down the sweet
All in good time,DebHaven't posted anywhere in quite a few days, because my DIY research has me full time, but I've been here soaking it all up.
Just between this and the DIY for Dummies threads, I now have 40 pages of notes, broken down with these headers (still have to sort out much of it and alphabetize):
Random DIY recipes, Clone Recipes (of the ones I already like & some I've been meaning to try), DIY for Dummies - Simple Recipes, Flavor Notes (with notes on any flavors that I think I'll use at some point, including info. on additives & what they do), IDJoel's Flavor Testing Process, and IDJoel's Mixing/Recipe Development Best Practices...
Holy Crap... and I haven't even started mixing/testing individual flavors yet!![]()
Another question also. I was reading that TFA Pom is sweet and FA has more tart to it. Your opinion?
Formatting this document and proof reading for any measurement that is less than 1% and adding a preceding '0' (so I don't miss the decimal point and think .5% means 5%) is already proving to be a challenge... I can't believe the number of recipes where I find that. You'd think that everyone would be clear about those things, right out of the gate, right?
Good thing that I'm under a self-imposed 'gear ban'... This could get more involved than I thought! Hahaha!
