I'm not sure if I like the Hangsen Italian Cream or the Brie Cheese best in a cheesecake. About equal right now. I know one or the other will be used in all future cheesecake recipes and remixes of my regulars also.
No. I just did the one recipe. I am hooked on peppermint right now.I hope you’re right... I have a bottle with both and a little vanilla gelato steeping. Can’t wait to try it! Have you mixed it with anything else (besides tobacco)?
I'll stick with the italian cream...I can eat mascarpone cheese anytime, brie not so much. Makes for a nice occasional treat with cranberry sauce.I'm not sure if I like the Hangsen Italian Cream or the Brie Cheese best in a cheesecake. About equal right now. You should try it. I hate Brie Cheese but I like this flavor at low %.I'll stick with the italian cream...I can eat mascarpone cheese anytime, brie not so much. Makes for a nice occasional treat with cranberry sauce.
I would contribute a $5 a month donation for an "Ask Joel" thread.
I think they are essential for pretty much all diyer's.I'm behind a bit, but didn't want this to get past me without chiming in...
@IDJoel , you have no idea how many pages of notes your DIY posts consume (in a good way) within my DIY notes Word document.
You explain things in a way that fully (<-- key word here) makes sense, to me, at least. You may think your posts are too long, but (to me) they're essential for the average 'dummy' (i.e., inexperienced) DIYer, like me.
So... Keep 'em comin'!![]()
These will hold some of the chubby bottles.....I haven't started mixing anything yet, but I made sure that I had 2 of those nail polish cases before I even received my 1st order. I *knew* I needed something to keep all of those tiny bottles in order immediately, or I would lose my mind along with my desire to DIY pretty quickly. I'm not a neat freak or OCD slave, but I can become quickly overwhelmed, if I don't have a way to contain the madness. LOL!
My sorting is simple: Sort alphabetically by flavor category name (additives, creams, fruits, mints, tobaccos, etc.) then alphabetically by flavor name. Manufacturer name has no bearing at all at this stage for me, but then again, I don't have 23+ creams to keep track of at this point. If a recipe calls for a vanilla, a cream, and a tobacco, I know exactly where to look for them... But Chubby 30ml flavoring bottles will NOT fit in those compartments (regular 30ml will though)... So, I'll soon need another system.![]()
I agree. I love Joel's posts.I think they are essential for pretty much all diyer's.

Altho there are different chubby's I just got some from real flavors when they had that sale for flavor drops........lets see if there web site has the dimensions of them. I will go look.
eta also the 30ml chubbies from nic river will fit also.
Only problem with the chubby's is that vendors are starting to use them and all they are all different sizes. The NR ones are a couple of mm taller than the ones for the flavor drops from RF.Was thinking of contacting the man that made my battery dispensers about a rack for my 30ml and 60ml chubbies.
For that post I meant my day to day black chubby gorilla LDPE bottles. The nail racks fit the flavor chubbies very well from all vendors I've bought from.Only problem with the chubby's is that vendors are starting to use them and all they are all different sizes. The NR ones are a couple of mm taller than the ones for the flavor drops from RF.
The 1 ounce purilum bottle I got when I ordered flavors this last time just are a perfect fit for the case I linked above.

I think you meant 1.18mLvg, and 3.08mLpg? If so; you're close.@IDJoel @Sugar_and_Spice I have one last equation to do. Same 10% nic and 6% flavor. With that I need 25% vg and 75% pg. I figured this at 1.18%vg and 3.08%pg but it just doesn't seem right.
Perfect. Thank youI think you meant 1.18mLvg, and 3.08mLpg? If so; you're close.
I was assuming this is for a 5mL tester again. If you need numbers for a different volume just let me know (of course percentages will remain the same).
