I did note the 2-3% recommendation and the description of sweet which is why I'm going with the .5% to start. I still have mixes with the Fresh Fig and Smoked Plum steeping. If I like them as well as the FLV Brie Cheese and Hangsen Italian Cream I'll be a happy camper.

Seriously, I tend to trust them for the most part, esp. Dave (ID10-T.) He likes a lot of things that I don't, but when we agree, we are usually in complete agreement.

FedEx just updated my NR order to be delivered to Tuesday! I'm so happy even tho I have no idea where I am going to put the new flavors.

I'm on the second tank in a Top Tank. It took to the 2nd tank to fix the wick. At a little over a week I'm not noticing any changes but it will go into my Zeus when it shows up.

I spent the past 12 hours organizing and packing up my mixing gear, wire, bottles, cotton, etc. *whew* I had NO idea how much stuff I own and need. Maybe I have a problem.
I decided against shipping in the car since it might take two weeks for the car to make it across the country and I just didn't want to risk anything being ruined, melted, whatever.
Just have to tape them up and get them to UPS or USPS - my postal scale is MIA so I can't weigh the darned boxes. Just as well since you can only do Priority online and I think First Class is fine for these.
Gotta find the energy to tape up the boxes and they will be ready to go. The worst of the battle is done.
First Class is only for packages that weigh up to 13.5oz. though. You'll likely be sending ones heavier than that though, won't you...if you've got a bunch of "stuff"?
I'd personally be packing that car with as much stuff as I could, that I wouldn't need right away, if you're paying a flat fee to send the car. I mean, what damage can be done to wire, empty bottles, cotton, etc. if it's well-packed in boxes inside the car?

I meant ground - tired brain and all. It is still going to cost a fortune even mailed ground. Priority would be twice as much. USPS says they can get it there Monday, July 16th if I mail it ground tomorrow. That is good enough.
Sending it in the car is a problem as the company doesn't really like for items to be shipped in the car. They will allow a small amount of stuff to be sent in the car, but they are pretty restrictive about it. I don't know. My son-in-law left the car at my house to be picked up. Maybe I will load everything into the back of the car except for my box of flavors and see what they say when they pick up the car.

They are probably restrictive about it due to insurance I imagine. They probably will not guarantee that those items will still be there when the car arrives at destination. Not sure. Something to ask them anyway.....
Actually, now that the USPS rates have been changed so many years in a row...what used to be called Parcel Post with them (ground), is not much less at all than Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes. Even back when I was selling regularly on eBay...many times there was a difference of 75 cents or less between them!
I can see where the company wouldn't want 100's of pounds of stuff in the car, but...just a few boxes that might weigh 20-30 pounds total shouldn't be a problem. In the trunk they wouldn't be visible, so less likely to be messed with! I'd just ask them nicely about it.
My S-I-L did ask them and they approved what I wanted to send. They are licensed and bonded - no idea if that covers what is in the car but that wasn't something they mentioned to him. They just don't want people to be using their cars as moving vans.
They told him it would be okay to put items in the car as long as they weigh under a hundred pounds or so and nothing blocks visibility. My son just loaded the boxes into the car for me and they fit nicely with no visibility issues. I will keep my fingers crossed that it all arrives safely. I do appreciate the advice - it was very, very helpful. As long as the stuff makes it there, I saved a lot of money! I have my emergency kit of wire and jigs and cotton and plenty of juice. Moving 3000 miles across the country for a year is a PITA! I get to do this in reverse next June.
