I have a a ton of new flavors here to play with and not much time available to mix. At bare minimum I'll be doing a SFT of VTA Jackfruit but I have no starting point for percentage (there's not really anything to go by on ELR). I may try 3% and see what happens.

To be honest, I don’t even know what jackfruit is.

I am going to clean out some 30ml glass bottles that I’ve decided that I’m not going to use the liquid in. I’ve been thinking about it for some time. If I ever want those again then I can mix new. One I tried had been sitting too long and didn’t taste good.

Quite honestly, I don't know what a real jackfruit tastes like either but TFA Jackfruit is an awesome flavor so I thought VTA's version would be different but not too far off of what TFA's tastes like. Instead it is nothing like what I expected, not even remotely. Time will tell if the vomit note steeps out but I'm not holding out a lot of hope. :(

Just mixed the VTA Jackfruit at 3% and did a finger taste test. Taste's as disgusting as it smells :(

Given how you described the smell, I'm going to be nice and refrain from asking how exactly you came to know the taste as well ..... oops

You already mixed it so why not take one for the team? In the 'immortal', not to mention recently controversial, words of Nike ... Just do it! :D

It's so very frustrating to make a fantastic mix...you've tested it in a dripper for weeks and decide to fill a tank with it...

and the favor goes to "meh" in the tank.
Give it time to really soak the atty in the tank. I find its better to let it set for a couple of hours.

    :)

Did a remix of my Cap Blueberry Jam. Good after 24 hrs, but will allow the rest of the tester to age a bit longer.

    CAP BB Jam 5%
    CAP BB 2%
FA Bilberry I have put only 2 drops in a 15ml tester--will add more if needed
    PUR Marshmellow 1.5%
    TFA Whipped Cr 1.0%.

Also thinking about doing a tester with PUR Bosenberry Preserves. Any suggestions on a pairing or a starting %? Maybe INW Buscuit?

    :)

I could give it 24 hours to "settle" and try it in a dripper tomorrow but I'm more likely to give it a week or two (or three) until I work up enough courage to try it.

Does the other jackfruit need to steep? Maybe this one does?

No, TFA Jackfruit doesn't really need a steep but I tend to use it with creams so I usually give it two weeks before I vape it. Since this one has no resemblance to its TFA counterpart whatsoever I'm hoping a steep will get rid of those barfy notes.

I’m not that patient but I’ve noticed after using a tank with a new flavor that it improved with time.

Nope, this isn't a fresh try...several tankfulls..a couple of re-wicks. It's been 2 weeks futzing with it in the tank.
