I was doing some research on the new flavoring that BCF is offering. The Solub Arome flavors. People are using them @ 18-20% and saying they are a shake and vape. Yeah, I guess so at that amount. And I was thinking the 15% of the one Real Flavor I use was high.....guess not.

:)
I have a recipe for Toast n Jelly using Solub Arome Cereal & I cant really remember right now but I think I used 3%.

They actually have a flavor called 'Breakfast' which is toast and strawberry type of jam. Some poor soul said it was fantastic at 20%. This review was from France I was thinking maybe he was still smoking also for wanting that high of a %. I guess some just don't want to wait for the flavors to mature but I often wonder what those flavors taste like in 2 weeks. Probably would have to cut in half at least for it to be vapable. dunno. Everyone is different and some are really out there. lol

I did the pecan recipe that @ceeceeisme posted a while back. I find I am only tasting the maple in it and nothing else. May remake at a lower % and see how it goes. Would like to taste a bit of pecan in it. lol

:)

That's weird - I get no maple whatsoever from any of those ingredients.
Just goes to show how different everybody's sense of taste is :)

I suppose I should spill the beans......hubs has bone cancer. It's in one spot that can be accessed easily with pin point radiation so we have a hope of killing it......at least for now. He's in a great deal of pain and I'm really hoping the radiation next week will relieve that.

I try to keep busy with my DIY and stuff. Helps to keep my mind occupied. Not helping my thought process much.....Having a hard time thinking of ideas. Maybe it's not my mind at all but the fault of the so many flavors I've collected...........
We’re here for you, for whatever you need us to be, whenever you do.

@FranC

Ok help me out here. Seems I wrote down another recipe for the cereal bites than what you listed for @hittman

What is the name of this recipe?

Cap Cereal Bites 27 4%
WF Hazelnut and Cream 3%
TPA VBIC 1%
INW Vanilla Cream .50%
FW Salted Caramel .3%

:)

eta btw--this one is really good....
I’m glad you reposted that! I hadn’t saved it because I didn’t think I’d buy cereal 27

Planning to mix all repeats mostly holiday flavors:

HIC’s Heart of Andes — really enjoying this.
Biscochito's by wllmc on VU — haven’t mixed this in a long time. It is a traditional NM Christmas cookie. This will be the first time I am using FA Red Wine as I did not have it originally. Uses only 0.30% so if you don’t have it, others subbed another liquor flavor or just left it out.
Italian Christmas Cookie by HIC’s on VU.
Tropical Eggnog Coquito by Chrisdv1 on ATF — like this one a lot.
Lemon Macaron — to satisfy my lemonhead.

Will see how far I get.
I’m going to have to hunt those down. Heart of Andes is really good!!

I’m still slowly working a little bit at a time at getting my flavors organized. I got my flavor list updated and got my new case organized and mostly filled. I typed all the flavors and sorted them alphabetically. I now at least have a list of which flavors are in each of the four cases. I’m going to keep working at it until I get to the point where I can pull the flavors for a recipe in a reasonable amount of time instead of going on a wild goose hunt every time I want to make something.

Good luck with that. LOL I tried that for a while until I got like 20 flavors that all begin with a 'C' and I just bought a "B" flavor. No room to switch everyone over one notch. You may not be there yet but some day.....

The easiest is to just list which case and which slot each flavor is in. When you get a new flavor then just put it at the next available slot in whichever case you want and list it on your sheet. I originally tried to go with one case for each flavor maker I used but realized I didn't have the room or the $ to do that. Plus for those that I only have 1 or 2 flavors for, it just didn't make any sense.

Thats why I have mine in flavor categories. SB is with the other SB's. Cream is with the creams, nuts are with the nuts and so on.
That would be an easy way to see which are your favs.....they run out quicker....lol

I do mine that way too. It makes it easier to change something on a whim if I’m looking at all my citrus, or creams, etc.

That’s kind of what I’m doing. All the flavors in my clear cases are in alphabetical order on each side. I just made maps of my stack on cases. Either way I will at least know which case they are in once I make a master list. I used to grab the flavors for a recipe and then keep them separate in bags if I planned on making it repeatedly. Problem was that if I needed that flavor again then I’d have to remember where I put it. I’m just tired of it being a chore just to find the flavors for one recipe. I think I’d mix more often if things were easier to find.
