In looking for mixing % on the Ha Creams I stumbled across a recipe i have a strange desire to try.BUT it calls for FLV Root Beer. I don't have any root beer flavors nor will I get any because I don't like root beer in rl. So what would you sub for root beer????

Hard to guess without knowing the rest of the recipe...

But maybe something that add some sort of bubbly effervescence? That might be part of the FLV root beer?

The recipe is basically 2 chocolates and 2 ice creams with a touch of meringue. I don't see the point of bubbly.I'm not mixing right now so maybe something will come to me to fit in or just skip it altogether.

Heard back from Wizard Labs and ECX. The latter won't let me add Inawera Lemon Mix and FA White Peach to my order, but WL agreed to switch out FA Blackberry for TFA. So, a partial win. I'll take it.
Well that's good at least:) You can save the other 2 flavors for a future order.

Sounds sort of like what we used to call a brown cow - a root beer float made with chocolate ice cream. :)

The shopping list has already been started.

I'm not unhappy with the outcome. I'd rather avoid getting a flavor that won't work than get two additional flavors and a dud.

Makes me like Wizard Labs, though.

BCF is a good place too.

So I've gathered from the rave reviews here. Not quite sure why I chose ECX for the big order. There was a reason, presumably. But I'm annoyed with them now, and that might be BCF's gain.

What's the best place for Purilum flavors? I see Nic River has them but have no idea if that's the most economical option.

I don't order from Nic River often or ECX. BCF is my go to place

BCF let me make a second immediate order with a couple flavors I forgot once. Shipped both orders together and credited me for shipping on the “second” order.

I think that purlilum is NR's private line of flavors. I haven't seen them anywhere else.
Yeah, a little poking around in this thread led me to that conclusion. A good reason to choose NR for my next order. BCF will just have to wait its turn to empty my wallet.

In the 3 1/2 years that I've dealt with Wizard Labs, they've been very accommodating. They'll work with you on switching something out if you catch it before shipment, like they did for you. Also, if you forget something or a few something's on an order...you can place another order within 24 hours, choose Combine for Shipping option, and add a note in the order section about it, too, for good measure. I've done that several times over the years. There's never been a glitch in it.

Better order enough for free shipping. The shipping there ain't cheap.

The only reason I ordered from Nic River was to get one flavor but I had to find what else I could because I'm not ordering just one flavor and certainly not enough for free shipping. The shipping was $6.19 which is terrible for 8 little 10ml bottles. If there turns out to be a flavor or flavors I really really like I will go back and buy big bottles and be done with it. I haven't got shipping yet either from Nic River or Gremlin.
