FLV has the best tobacco's to me.

I have some FLV tobacco flavors and can use some help I tried a few recipes by Fear on ATF who is supposedly the resident tobacco expert. I find his recipes tend to be hard core tobacco which I am not. I have tried making adjustments however it just made it worse. If you can make recipe suggestions I would be so ever grateful. Something creamy however not necessarily custard may work better for me. The FLV flavors I have are: Cured Tobacco, Kentucky Blend, Red Burley and Tatanka. I also have Connecticut Shade which I purchased in error — you know how that goes. I am not opposed to buying a flavor or two that I may be missing.

I love some of his but you are correct, he seems to like his tobacco more realistic and in your face. His cardinal may be more in line with what you are after. Connecticut shade is one of my favs. It seems from your desciption you may like an RY4 type blend with something like FW butterscotch ripple to cream it up and maybe use the FLV to heighten the tobacco note a bit since most RY4's arent really tob forward. JF is a little more than most. Let me work up a couple things and I will get back to you

    Somewhere between here and there
Don't seem to be able to find a coffee flavor I like, they all taste like burnt coffee. Is it time to give up on them or does anyone have any suggestions?

I’m not a big coffee vaper but I’ve used S.C. espresso in small amounts and like it ok. I think I have a couple coffee flavors that I haven’t tried but could do sft to see how they are.

Maybe OSDIY's "Lotta Latte" (one of their One Stop Blends) would work for you? It's not just a plain coffee flavor, but it's very good, IMO. Quite a few of us use it mixed with their Lucky Shot (another of their One Stop Blends) for a Caramel Latte taste.

Thanks so much. You are absolutely correct on what I like. I use FA and JF RY4s regardless of what brand a recipe calls for.

@FranC — I am late to the party however here is my experience travelling with tanks.

I leave the drip tip on and turn the tank upside down in a pill container which is the perfect size for my tanks. When the tank is upside down the juice level needs to be below the air flow holes. I have had some seepage and I think it was just condensation from the drip tip. I do put a small piece of paper town on the bottom of the container to absorb any seepage. This needs to go in your one quart bag due to the liquid. On the plane I take the pill container out of the bag and hold it so the tank remains upside down on take off and landing. During the flight I put it in the seat back pocket again keeping it upside down.

There is always an exception. Several years back I took a flight that was approximately 15 hours. Not knowing how receptive the country was to vaping (I had read various versions) I took my oldest tanks and mods in case they confiscated them When I arrived at my destination the two tanks I had with juice in it had leaked all the juice out even being upside down.

Sometimes I prefer to forego all this. I empty out my tank before I go into the terminal. Once I arrive I refill it with the juice in my one quart bag. At this point the coil is already primed so good to go.

I have read that people go into the restroom and take a vape on an airplane. I have never done this nor will I ever do this. The fines are hefty if caught so I prefer to wait it out. I also do not vape when I am at the doctor’s office as others may do. I do volunteer work at a Ronald McDonald House which is a home away from home for chidden undergoing treatment and their families. Once I took a small drag inside the House. The Director could smell it so even though I taste it and not smell the vapor other people do. If you are staying in a hotel, I have found out that the hotel detectors can even detect vapor — don’t ask me how I know.

Enjoy your trip wherever you are going.

I even have FLV Vanilla Pudding which is a fav for me. I made my calculator so hopefully will mix it tomorrow.

As far as steeping what do you recommend? I read that with FLV tobaccos up to the first 4 or 5 days you get flavor. After that the flavor disappears and comes back around day 14. For any FLV tobaccos I did mix I gave it a two week steep or maybe 15 days to be certain.

I KNOW! Heh. I'm sort of glad I'm not reading all about the new flavors everyone is raving about in some ways....

I have enough juice containers for like 6 more mixes, and base, so everything is out of the fridge until I get to it. Was worried the husband packed the baking stuff, but he has not.

I have created a mix so DIVINE (it is mysteriously labelled "Maple" and I was recreating something but I did WAY BETTER somehow) and now I am mad at me.

I also freaking.... Spilled most of my Boston Cream Pie on the apartment. It improved the smell a fair amount but I am very resentful, I have it in the true tank and it is BOMB. I will be just filling that back up to where it SHOULD be.

I dont even touch them for couple weeks and some take longer. Like I said, Ive never even tried that. It was just a starting point for a recipe. Might be good but it might just s... and need a bunch of tweeking
