I honestly dont consider them tobacco's, more of a caramel vanilla type thing. They go good with ice cream type stuff
Good example how much our tastes can differ. I've long since piffed away all my Ry4's. I just plain didn't like the taste of them

Is it just as concentrated as FA? I always tend to think that a rebottler will always dilute. Be nice to be totally wrong though :)

It is identical to FA. I can understand your reservations but Chefs is as reputable a company as there is. Top notch! :)

I feel somewhat successful today. I got 5 recipes mixed up at least. Mostly snv because I’m down so low. I got on the bandwagon and made some Fizzy Lemon Sherbet as well. I have no problems being a bandwagon kinda gal.

Tomorrow I’ll mix up the ones that need steeping and some cheesecake and nic bases.

While I’ve got everything out I might as well do some sft. I’m still working on my most often used concentrates before I get into the exotic flavors lol!

What’s everyone else been up too?

Decided I want to at least try Nick's LMP - the Best and Lemondowski, so bought the stuff I didn't have on Chefs sale. I also bought refills on VTA Sweet Cream and Fizzy Sherbet. New for me - VTA Pudding Base, Flavour Creative Cookie, FLV Vanilla Pudding, VTA Lemon Meringue Tart, and WF Flapper Pie. I hope I like those new recipes. I tend to not love desserts and don't love recipes with no coolant but these are so highly rated that I think I am missing out if I don't at least give them a shot.

I'm just chillin. At my daughers til tomorrow afternoon. Still trying to put a Chefs order together. Might wait til I get home tomorrow.

Don't leave it too late to do your order - sale ends "Ends Sunday 31st March". If it ends midnight their time it means you'll have until 8 pm our time to get your order in. :)

After my last post, I went downstairs and started going through my vape cabinet. I found buried treasure. Besides some mods and tanks I forgot about, I found five Cap flavors and a few FA flavors that I don’t have on my elr stash. They were in with some bulk flavor bottles.

Forgive my ignorance, but I see a lot of mentions for Chef's and I'm not sure what site that exactly is. Is it possible to provide a link?

I have indeed. Too much vaping gear in too many places. Some on main floor, most of stockpile and mixing stuff in the basement and a bit of gear at work in a couple drawers.

There is lots I want to try like blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, etc ... but I think I really need to do some research on what I think I'm going to like first .. recipes with the flavors I want, and favorable reviews for those recipes. I'm new to DIY and in my first order, I went with some Vanillas and bakery, which I really wasn't happy with (in my original question about the grape juice, I mentioned I wanted to move away from the desserts, creams and bakery). I really like grapes, like the artificial koolaid / grape soda types, and I had already ordered the TFA Grape Juice, but there was a post here that didn't give it a favorable review, so I said screw it and ordered the one the guy really liked. Shipping was only $7 .. so if its something I enjoy, it will have been worth it.
For your grape research; if you have the time, and are so inclined, you might want to watch this grape dedicated Noted episode:
    Grape, Noted: ep. 3
These folks offer useful info, and give a good starting point, for further experimentation.

Regarding the TFA Grape Juice; I concur with the 4-8% range. For an in-your-face artificial grape flavor; TFA GJ can be mixed equal parts (4%+4%) with TFA Grape Candy (sweeten if needed).

When looking for recipes; I like to start with ATF (All The Flavors). They seem to attract the more accomplished mixers, and have fewer of the half-arsed "wing-and-a-prayer, what-would-this-taste-like" unproven/untested recipes, that sites like ELR seem to be glutted with. They also, often, include much more informative flavor notes.

On ATF; I can search by a specific concentrate (name & brand) using the "Flavors" tab. Or, using the "Recipes" tab, I can enter a general word search (e.g. grape). Then, I will sort by rating, to bring the highest rated recipes to the top:

Then I start reading to see which ones sound good to me. :)
