Pretty sweet. Not really like sugar sweet but its sweet. Real dates are sweet

Thought I would drop this here - it's the Date Square recipe I mixed up last weekend. It's pretty dang good! I think another week of steeping time and it'll be perfect:

Ceecee's Date Squares
0.40% INW Brown Sugar
1.00% CAP Butter Cream
0.25% FE Lemon
2.50% WFSC Oats and Cream Cookie
2.00% VTA Red Dates
0.30% CAP Super Sweet

Steep 2 weeks for optimal flavor. Omit Super Sweet if you like but I think it makes the flavors pop.

I think I have two out of six of those. It sounds good except I don’t know what dates taste like.

Well I like raisins. Prunes not so much.

Flv fig is my favorite because its a tad darker and not fruity like FA. Goes good in tobacco's

I do love me a big tub of Medjools from California though.... they're the best you can buy.

You could try the date square recipe with fig and let me know how it tastes. I have FA Fig and it's okay but I've been eyeing the FLV Fig lately.

Flv is a tad musky and thats why I like it for tobacco. FA would be better for a desert IMHO. Its fruitier

That was the best disciption I could come up with. I dont think its as dark as a prune

I was looking through my sft bottles and some are from October and have gotten fairly dark. I’m not sure if I should try them or dump them out.

Definitely not as dark as a prune. It's kinda hard to describe the taste of a date anyway. Same with a fig or a prune, for that matter. The are all distinctly different.

I may do that but ditch the lemon and super sweet.
