A month? Did you catch my earlier post on suffering from severe instant gratificationitis? But advice taken. Thank you :thumb:

You'll find that flavor changes considerably as it steeps. 6% is high for Inawera, it'll get stronger as it ages.

Anyone else been looking at the aegis solo? A few places are taking preorders.

I’m “looking” at it but will wait for reviews from real life people I think. I had hoped a small external battery Aegis would appear. I loved the looks of the internal battery one but didn’t want to go that route.
Did you place a pre order?

I'm eyeing them, that's for sure. My favorite form factor is a single 18650 mod. I'll probably buy one eventually but not right away. Not like I need anymore mods

Does it take just an 18650 or can it accommodate larger batteries as well?

I run the x in single. Try it with a radiator coil and you will love it

I’m actually going to try a single coil with an id of 4.0 or 4.5. DJLs says he had great flavor with that setup. At some point I’ll try it with a radiator coil as well. I’ve just been waiting to vape all the juice from it.

I’ve been talking to someone at geekvape about doing a review on one when they become available.

18650 only as far as I know. Honestly I haven’t noticed that much of a difference between running a 21700 in my armour pro and an 18650 in other mods.

I was thinking the same thing. I’ll try a 4mm Clapton coil if I ever get my order.

I’ve been talking to someone at geekvape about doing a review on one when they become available.

That would be fantastic. See if you can become a regular reviewer for them.

At some point I had been approved as a Power User with Vaporesso to get free gear and review them.

I finally decided it wouldn’t work out for a couple of reasons- mostly health ones. If I’m having a flare that lasts a few weeks or longer I’m not really up to vaping & reviewing gear on a timeline. Plus I really didn’t want to vape so many pods and there is a plethora of pods coming out every day from all the manufacturers. And probably the number one reason is that they wanted my personal social media accounts. I didn’t feel comfortable with that al all especially since I’ve got them on private. Or as private a social media account can be nowadays.

I think I’m just going to stick with just simple single ss316l on my 1st attempt. That’s what I normally use so it would be a fairer comparison. Then I can go to either the Clapton or flat wire I bought recently. All kinds of possibilities.

What’s a radiator coil? Can they be purchased somewhere?

A coil shaped like a radiator. Example of a Fused Clapton radiator on the Peacemaker RTA

I’ve gotten the legend, aegis mini, nova, baron, and a couple tanks from them so far for review. How did you get in good with vaporesso? I have a few of their mods and really like them. I wouldn’t mind doing some for them. I’m also going to be doing one on some pod device called the Vladdinn. I hadn’t seen it before but they contacted me so I figured what the heck. I’ve got a handful of pod devices so feel like I could do a decent review.

My 1st real mod was a Vaporesso Revenger X and I was constantly contacting them with questions. At one point the service rep asked if I was interested and sent me the link to the application. You can find it on their webpage. I think it’s called Power User or similar. I was only interested in box mods so you would be better at reviewing pods than I would be. I’ve never even used a pod.

Give it a try. I love my Vaporesso products. I’m a big fan of them.

It seems Geekvape already has a single battery Aegis that accommodates 18650 or 26650. Looks like they are calling it the Aegis Shield. The new Aegis Solo appears to accommodate only the 18650. I had hopes the Solo would be smaller. But, looking at the promotional video (bottom of the page) it still looks pretty big in the hand.
