In my case I could not get beyond the over sweetness to even begin tasting the flavor of the juice. Dumped it.
So the nicsalt Dinner Lady Lemon Tart is much sweeter than the regular DL Lemon Tart?

I was thinking of trying nicsalt too & was going to pick that one.

Nic Riv is having a Flash Sale 25% Off ALL flavors.

Did someone mention that the nic River bottles 15mg don’t fit in the polish cases? I think I heard that here.
They fit in mine just fine. The FLV bottles, however, are tricky.

Appreciate it, but I cannot use VBIC (at least the TFA version of it, havent tried others) ... I've tested at 2% and its extremely strong. I don't get the peppery notes that others do, but its just too strong or pungent for me :/

You can sub the VBIC with your tfa vanilla swirl - I also find tfa VBIC extremely floral and strong. Tfa vanilla swirl tastes like a softserv ice cream for me.

    Malty is like eggy or????

Yeah eggy is a better description. I'm used to plain jane (cap) vanilla ice cream

I think I am going to manage to resist that Nic River sale. Put about $35 dollars' worth of stuff in my cart--all flavors on my wishlist; no spur-of-the-moment additions--but as I was considering how to pad out the order to $50, I remembered that I covet a stabwood SL (though I'm waffling again: #7, #27, and #39).

@FranC — I am so sorry that there are many flavors that you cannot vape and thus miss out on some very good mixes. What do you normally vape?
I'm guessing we all have flavors we can't vape or can't taste. I have never been able to taste apple or caramel in a vape. Most of the flavors I can't vape anymore are flavors I used to vape heavily like coffees and tobaccos.I can't vape most citrus anymore but I'm good with grapefruit and a bit of orange. I had a short run with spices but can't do those anymore at all.I can vape most fruits but peach and cherry are out. There are a few flavors I just hate, like Spearmint .This thread has actually helped me a lot in finding new to things to vape. Cheesecakes, boozy mixes, biscuits, cookies, cereals, granola. Of course I always had the aversion to sweet vapes.

For a long time I thought I had the worse taste buds ever. I have discovered more recently that some folks have as bad or worse problems than I do.

I'm sorry in advance that this is so long, but I wanted to share as much specific info. as I could. Maybe it'll help with locating the things on the website.

If anyone needs glass and/or plastic bottles, phenolic caps with the polycone liners, other screw-on caps, etc., for their eliquids, flavorings, nic base, etc....PackagingOptionsDirect.com has a super Clearance sale going on. There's no coupon code needed. Items are 75% off their normal prices, and there are more than 400 things included. Because they supply lots of businesses with packaging supplies...some items only come by the case (some as small as 12 items to hundreds per case), but others can be purchased by the each. They have a good selection of Boston Round bottles in Clear, Amber, and Cobalt Blue, as well as a huge variety of various plastic bottles, jars, jugs, other containers and the caps/lids for them all.

They really have some terrific deals. Here's what I just bought, and their SKU #, in case anyone wants to find them easier:

    (72) 1 oz. Clear Glass Boston Round Bottles - 20/400 Neck Finish for...wait for it....$.05 each (SKU: 011260)

    (80) 20-400 Continuous Thread Black Phenolic Closure with Polycone Liner for....$.06 each (SKU: 003668)

    (15) 4oz. Natural LDPE Squeezable Plastic Boston Round Bottles - 24-410 Neck Finish Continuous Thread for...$.13 each (SKU: 022447)

    (20) 24-410 Round P/P White Continuous Thread Closure w/F217 Liner (a regular screw-on cap)...for $.10 each (SKU: 004457)

    (6) 28-400 Continuous Thread Black Phenolic Plastic Closure with Polycone Liner....for bottles I already have, but wanted a few extra caps for them...for $.24 each (SKU: 020896)

These bottles weren't on Clearance, but the price beat the heck out of anyplace else I checked, and I needed some anyway.

    (24) 4oz. Clear Glass Boston Round Bottle 24-400 Neck Finish...for $.36 each (011731)

    (28) 24-400 Round Phenolic Black Continuous Thread Closure with Polycone Liner...for $.06 each (SKU: 004320)

    So, I ended up with 111 bottles + 134 caps for $24.11 + $14.57 S/H = $38.68 Total.

All the things above were coming from their St. Louis warehouse. But they also had an amazing hard-to-believe deal on their 8oz. Amber Boston Round Bottles from their New Mexico warehouse location. If they'd been at the St. Louis warehouse and could've been shipped with everything else...I'd have bought at least a couple cases of 12, in a heartbeat.

    The cases of (12) 8oz. Amber Boston Round Bottle, 28-400 Neck Finish...for only $2.67! That's only $.22/bottle! (SKU: 011981)
Caps for them are the same 28-400 ones that I bought 6 of above.

They also had the same bottles, but with a slightly smaller opening (the 24-400 neck finish), by the case of 108...for only $20.74/case. That's $.19/bottle! (SKU: 051448) Maybe a few of you could go in together on a case, for that cost.

These cheaper caps that I bought fit them:
24-400 Round Phenolic Black Continuous Thread Closure with Polycone Liner...for $.06 each. (SKU: 004320)

Sales this good on glass bottles, and especially the polycone lined caps, just don't come around very often! I couldn't resist, especially since I want to transfer quite a few flavorings from the PET and PP bottles they came in...to glass, for the longhaul. Need to break down some 16oz. bottles, too, into the 4oz. size. I'm a happy camper, now that I'll be able to do that for a whole lot less $$ than I thought it would take!

ETA: Almost forgot this - IIRC the sale doesn't end until the 24th, but I'm sure some things will sell out well before then. If it's different than that, when I go back and check the email...I'll change it here.

I think it is a combination of two things for me — I have not had commercial juices for a long time plus they are high in VG which adds sweetness. I mix at 45PG/55VG with no added sweetener. If you mix at high VG it should probably be the same for you. Too bad I dumped it or would have sent it to you.

Flavors that have sucralose, EM, etc. in them mutes the juice for me so I try not to buy brands/flavor concentrates that contain this. This has been an ongoing issue for me even when I bought premixes.

So far I have not lost my taste for any particular flavor although I have tried flavors that I do not like and this happens to all of us. FA Pineapple comes to mind as one I do not like even though I like pineapple flavors. I still have not found the perfect pineapple though.

Anyhow hopefully you will regain liking flavors that you have lost a taste for.

Thanks for the thought. I mix @70vg so I gather it will be ok.

    Somewhere between here and there
I opened the box my chefs order came in last night but that's as far as I got. I didn't even do an inventory to see if everything was there. By the time I came back inside from mowing last night, I was worn out. I'll do an inventory tonight and see if I can remember what I ordered the flavors for. I totally forgot to order FA graham crust for the custard recipe but think I'll just sub that one flavor. I now have FW,TFA, and Cap graham cracker. Is there any reason that anyone knows of that it wouldn't be ok to use the FW instead of the FA in that recipe?

Original recipe called for 1% CAP GC and 2% FW GC. I cannot vape FW due to EM in it so I reversed the percentages and used 2% CAP and 1% FA. I now mix at 3% CAP and 1% FA.

I took out my FW Graham Cracker & FA Graham Crust & in a sniff & taste test I think you can get away with using the FW.

I was actually talking about custard the quickening recipe. The way I have it, it calls for FA graham crust. I've been using cap and tfa graham in the graham cracker custard but will probably try the FW the next time I mix more.
