The Notes for flavors in ELR can be really useful except when oftentimes everyone just Copys and Pastes from each other especially if they’re not in English lol!!

It is one of those pet peeves of mine and drives me batty. When I 1st started doing flavor notes I’d copy them not realizing they were visible to the public.
Reddit flavor reviews are excellent. Diyordie:Noted on yt is a great resource for flavor notes as well.

Next is VTA Butter Toffee Base. You might think this is an odd flavor for me to buy but I've had pretty good results with VTA flavors not being too sweet. This has steeped over a month now. I like it,very tasty. Have to give some though at what to mix with it though.

I just mixed up a recipe with Kentucky Bourbon TPA and it’s very nice although I don’t really have anything to compare it to. It’s the 1st liquor I’ve tried.

I used it at 2%. It has a definite darkish (malt -as described by others) liquor taste but not overwhelming on the inhale and a subtle vanilla flavor on the exhale. It’s smooth like I imagine a quality bourbon might be. It has some sweetness to it but I didn’t find it too sweet but then I have a sweet tooth.

I’m looking forward to trying it in other recipes maybe with some types of fruit and heavy creams.

Here is the recipe I used - it’s not my recipe.

I'm so very sorry you're going through this, Anna. Teeth/mouth/jaw problems are miserable enough without having to battle incompetent/uncaring dentists. And if you get into any kind of trouble for complaining, well, this song comes to mind:

You are amazingly tough, but, jeez, you need a break. I hope this rotten bit is resolved quickly, followed by a long, peaceful stretch. Good luck.

I absolutely cannot believe I’ve met someone on the internet that knows of Mission of Burma! I was working as a sound tech in the Boston music scene back in the 80s and they were one of my favorite local bands! I’ve seen them sooo many times.

One of my happiest moments was when I found out that some of their music had been digitized and was available for download!!

    Are you from Boston??

Speaking of high total flavor %s even I - the Queen of In Your Face Flavors- have been lowering total amounts in my recipes lately.

So many people have said that they started off with high flavor only to reduce it as they had been vaping for awhile.

And after a year, I see what you all mean. I was vaping on avg at abt 20% but have dropped to abt 12-15%.

Not that it all matters- whatever works is individual preference. I just found it amusing since I’m always saying how I love lots of flavor. Of course it depends on the recipe as well.

I use that alot to but there are others that have there place.

Most definitely. I use FLV Cream quite often too. In addition FA Vienna Cream. I have HS Italian Cream which has its place for a tangy cream so not as versatile for me such as FA Cream Fresh and FLV Cream.

Last one before lunch is Molinberry Glamour Chocolate. This is a very good chocolate and has the bonus of being clear. Not sure if I like it better than VTA Chocolate Mousse but they at least tie for 1st place so far.

That takes care of the untried sft's. Now I have to do the final test of them all. I doubt if I'll find any that made drastic changes for better or worse but I'll be sure to mention it if I find any.

I make an almond toffee covered with chocolate that is ever so tasty; maybe that would work in vape form.

Ha! I'm glad someone recognized it. I've always loved that song. Never saw Mission of Burma live, though, which I regret.

Do you recognize this one? I always found it amusing. My roommate went out with someone in the band. Can't remember which guy it was.

I lived in Boston from January 1979 to October 1984. Those five plus years sort of constitute my youth (I was diagnosed with MS in 1985, which changed everything). Got a job at a small publishing company (Godine) two weeks after I arrived and worked there for most of the time I was there.

I went fairly often to Streets, in Allston. Do you know it? They booked a lot of New Wave bands. I'd also go to the Paradise, of course (saw X, The Waitresses, and Lou Reed there). The Speakeasy, in Central Square, was another favorite. Only went to The Rat a couple of times, though.

Now I'm all nostalgic. I may have to spend some time on YouTube today, wallowing.

Do you have any recipe in mind for the malted milk?
I'll probably study the recipes one of my favorite pastry chefs uses it in and see if any of them translate well into juice. Chocolate is the obvious choice, of course, but she pairs it with vanilla a lot, too.
