I just realized... I actually have every flavor in the recipe! Now, I really do hope it’s good!
it doesn't say how long to steep, but I can't imagine it's very long. possibly SNV

but I shall do my duty, embark on a grand adventure, and report back! :D

Speaking of KIndground, you guys do know he has throat cancer. There is a gofundme page for him. I will see if I can find the link to it. He is a good guy

I too saw this a few days ago. If it cannot be linked, anyone can go to ELR or ATF and click on the banner at the top of the page.

Just mixed up Bill D. Lemonade from Kindground recipe on ATF. And
LMN# also on ATF, the episode of Lemons on DIYORDIE with Kindground as their guest they all raved about LMN# as a delicious Lemon Cake.

I saved the recipe for Bill D Lemonade a few weeks back however have not mixed it yet I do have all the flavors. How is it?

P.S. I tried #LMN last year sometime. At the time I probably had three or four lemon recipes I mixed so I cannot remember what I thought of it.

First Memorial Day sale — I snoozed on the last sale IMR had on batteries so this time I am wide awake. I am desperate for new batteries.

that doesn't bode well.... just opened up my tfa chocolate and it smells like alcohol.....meh.....
i think this one is TFA also Signature DX Milk Chocolate has a hint of chocolate smell.... and then this Jungle flavors cocoa smells like hot chocolate
guess for now i'll use the dx milk chocolate, still trying to work on my pb choc cup....
should I leave the cap off of the tfa chocolate for a while?
Yes,I'd leave the cap off for awhile.
@Shadav, if You are talking about leaving the cap off the concentrate itself, then I have to repectfully disagree with Fran on this one. Do NOT breathe concentrates.

Concentrates use ethyl alcohol as a solvent/carrier when one (or more) of the compounds used in the concentrate won't stay in solution in regular PG. If you allow the alcohol to evaporate off (in the concentrate) those compounds can fall out of solution and ruin the concentrate. Once the concentrate is diluted, by incorporating into a recipe; there is enough other carriers. that the alcohol is no longer as critical, and can safely be allowed to evaporate.

So, in other words: breathe your mixes/recipes. But, don't breathe your concentrates. :)

As for TFA chocolates (in general); I personally don't think they are their best concentrates. I would be inclined to look to other mfgs. (like HS, VTA, and WF) for better options.
That's a good question, it just seemed a bit too much flavor, but maybe I'm just not used to it. I'm teetering more towards not changing it.
If you think it is too much flavor; you could also draw off a little bit of your current mix, and try diluting it with some unflavored base. Just a small amount should give you an idea of whether you are on the right track or not. :)

I will check the dollar stores first as it sounds like they have the Phillips.
I don't know if you have a harbor Freight near you; but they are another good cheap source for DIY tools. I have bought both:
16pc. screwdriver set ($4)
and
32pc. screwdriver set ($7)
and they work great! :)

Harbor is also a great place to find small pliers, cutters, and the like. :D

So turns out my wife's sister still has her entire recipe book, and sent the whole thing to my wife. Something like 50 recipes. Just your normal vape shop house juice flavors but there may be one or 2 neat ones in there.
I know you said your sister-in-law worked in Idaho. If the shop happened to be Vapology; I would LOVE to get their recipe for Iceberg! It was the mild wintergreen (almost lifesaver) e-liquid that finally got (and kept) me off the stinkies.

Trying to replicate it, is what got me started DIYing, though I never got particularly close.:( I would be thrilled to have that back in my daily rotation.

I kind of figured you were reading it that way; and I wasn't sure either. That is why I tried to qualify it as "concentrate." I could be entirely mistaken in my interpritation too. :D

Any suggestions with what to do with lemon meringue tart VT? I was told this was kind of a standalone one shot, but I also have these flavors to work with.. lemonade LA, lemon Sicily FA, vanilla custard v2 cap, vanilla bean ice cream cap, yes we cheesecake INW, cheesecake graham crust tfa, sweet cream cap, Bavarian cream LA. Here's my idea so far.. Just making .... up
    Lemon meringue tart VT 6%

    Lemon Sicily 3%
    Yes we cheesecake 2%
    Vanilla bean ice cream 1%

6% might be really high. I like LOTS of flavor but when I did a sft with this at 4% it was a bit too much for even me lol! It did “calm” down in a couple of weeks but it’s strong!! You can always add more if you want it higher.

My suggestion is to Vape it solo 1st at abt 3% to get an idea of how or will it will fit in with your other lemons.

whew bring on the quotes lol, sorry been busy with work....
Yes,I'd leave the cap off for awhile.
    thank you :)
I think I would try a blend of HS Australian chocolate and LB lava cake. LB is a thick choc syrup if kept low. Never tried the DX but tfa is just nasty
hm, STOP ADDING TO MY SHOPPING LIST  hadn't heard of those but I will keep them in mind....I have a feeling these two tfa's will be thrown out, can't even pif them if they are as bad as they smell....

sounds good....but it's going to be very lemony I think.... you have overall 9% lemon and 3% creamy well the meringue can add toward the cream part as well but.....anyways just my thought :) and are you going for 12% overall flavor or 10, 15, 20% :) not sure if I'd add more cheesecake (then you are adding to your steeping) but maybe add like sweet cream (unless you are going for the tartness then maybe fresh cream to mellow it out a bit) at maybe 2% this should balance out the lemon and creaminess
at least I think so, I'm pretty much talking out of my ***, just thinking of it from a cooking standpoint though that doesn't always transfer so well over to ejuice....
How long do you guys tend to let your creations steep before they are ready to go? I was hoping it would be more of a mix and go kind of thing but all this talk of 2 week to a month steeping.... My flavorings should be here today, and my brother gets home from college tonight, was hoping to have a bottle waiting for him.
I have no patience for that lol I shake until my hands fall off, I tell myself I'm exercising my arms....but you could make you some for now and some for later to let it steep while you have some to vape....even doing this I still end up using it after a few days maybe, maybe a week lol

nice! any coconut creams in there? I still can't seem to get mine just right, would like to compare notes.

yes it was the concentrate that I opened, ok thank you :) guess any thing I make with these will have to be set aside to steep.....I somehow don't think these will be lasting very long
