This looks really good, Pam, unfortunately I need 4 flavors for this, so I'll save it for now. BTW, the only menthol I have is FA Arctic Winter (don't know why, because I love menthol ), it that OK to use or is it too much?

Yeah, still haven't done any SFTs and I'm getting antsy because I have way too much that needs doing... My house is a wreck and I've had events come up that took me out of the house for the last 3 weekends now. I want to 'play', but I have to clean and do the winter-summer shoes/clothing change over before August is here. :censored:

Any other menthols that I should pick up? ;) (Nothing 'wintergreen-y' though :::yuck::: )
I believe all menthols are the same.

It should be fine, it's the one I use myself.

Hmm, well not quite ... one is 1.49$ another is 2.50$ and yet another is 2.25$ ... there is even one that goes for 8.49$! Bet ya' can't guess which brand that last one is, lol.

    LOL, there is that. :D

Thanks, I've been reading up on Arctic Winter and all seem to say it is just a menthol flavor. Some say it's really strong and others say it's not strong enough... Guess I'll just use it as a typical menthol and just roll with it.
I usually just use TFA cause I'm too lazy to do the crystals and I don't vape much menthol. I have had Arctic Winter and it's just another menthol.

I've had good luck requesting flavors from BCF. I think a few of us here have.

That's true. They are very receptive to requests. Too bad they can't help us out on FA flavors that FANA doesn't allow to be sold in the US. :(

No help for that one. I'm sure they would if they could.

Speaking of which, do you know if FA Lemon Zest is a UK specific blend or an actual FA flavor ( that may or may not contain diketones ) ?

I'm curious about that one but I haven't had a chance to investigate further.

I’m resigned to chocolate not being a vape flavor for me. I gave up, they all taste tootsie roll-ish, artificial... can’t put my finger on it, just not like irl chocolate.

I am pretty much to that point myself. Have zero recipes that sound good to me. I have one chocolate, VT Chocolate Mousse that someone on this thread recommended to me a while ago. @FranC do you want it?

Haven't bought an internal battery mod in years. For me, two reasons.

First, it's just a lot more convenient for me to swap in a fresh one than to tether the mod to the wall until recharged.

Toss in "supportablility", since the 18650 is here to stay. ALL batteries will have a finite life span. Unless one can source an identical Lipo, and has the skills and tools to swap those out, once the end of life is reached the device is a paperweight.

    :2c:

Same here — my last was the eGo prior to my recent purchase. I agree — swapping in a fresh battery is definitely more convenient although I do have other mods to use. Everything I have is either 18650 or 18500. Also have some 18350 that I do not use anymore but keeping just in case.

Since I only learned what a Torx screwdriver is I do not see myself swapping a Lipo and really have no interest in knowing.

My flavorings cart just keeps getting bigger and bigger.... My brother requested a Cherry Limeade liquid.... This BCF sale better be good or I'll have to seriously trim down my cart.

If you do not mind sharing, I would be interested in your Cherry Limeade recipe.

I have never used FA Arctic Winter but am guessing (and I stress guessing because an online search didn't find the info I was looking for) that it is a 10% Menthol solution. That is the usual, no matter the brand. I buy menthol crystals and dissolve them in PG for a 10% solution. I don't like wintergreen either. :)

This does not say what percent is used however from HIC's Notes on FA:

    FA Menthol Arctic (Arctic Winter)

Plain menthol flavor. 0.5% sweetens with a little cool menthol-minty flavor. 1% or more adds definite menthol flavor. It seems the same as other brands’ menthols to me. If you want a cooling effect without distinct menthol flavor, see my notes on Polar Blast.

It is a FA UK blended flavor. Not available through FA IT.

I see that @NotSoMini answered that question for you. I was busy mixing up some experiments, one that includes Butterscotch Ripple. o_O

Where are you getting $45 L?
Heartland Vapes. It is what I have most recently bought. It is clear, flavorless, and meets all my mixing needs. I also like that it is another smaller family-run US business. And, I find their service and speed, top notch.

If you want to try a smaller size first, to see if it is going to work for you, they offer 120mL sizes (in the "DIY Sizes" tab) for $11.

@NGAHaze brings up a good point though; we are getting to the hot time of the year. If you are ordering nicotine, I would do it soon, and maybe even check weather patterns for the next couple of weeks (between you and Oklahoma City). Because I am not sure I would want my nicotine stewing inside a 120℉+ truck trailer. :D
