I didn’t see it but does bcf usually carry SC cranberry?

That is the cranberry I use in @PJReid Cranberry Fizz on the Rocks. I do like SC and purchased it from Vaperstek. He did not have 30mls so ordered a couple of 10mls. There is one other vendor that has it however the name escapes me at the moment.

I’ve got four on my new wishlist. There are a couple one shots I was thinking about trying at chefs. My problem with chefs is by the time I get my order then I almost forget what I ordered the flavors for. I’ll probably just order from bcf.

It happens to me too. When I buy new flavors, I always make a note as to the name of the recipe I bought it for. If I do not then by time I receive the flavors I have no idea why I bought it.

I do not recall that you had any plans other than a taste for watermelon and it was just a conversation we had — I think.
Gotta be more than a boy thing cause my younger son shares the rest of the family's bad memories.

Hoping your right on the watermelon. I seem to recall you saying you liked the 3 FLV melon flavors. Since I wasn't impressed with the few watermelon flavors I have tried I figured it was worth another shot.

Also what % would you do the melon sft's at?

Taste is subjective so hope you like FLV.

This is probably the most mixed watermelon and as you can see contains a lot more than watermelon, Water-malone (LIve Mixing: SUMMERTIME RECIPES)
Might be one @ChelsB could try...IDK. ChelsB???

That would be too sweet for me. I would skip the CAP Super Sweet altogether as there is enough "sweet" in it already. Instead I would sub in FA Pear between 0.5 - 1%, thinking it would balance the whole mix a little nicer. I would also add FA Strawberry at 1 - 1.5% to it to better balance the watermelons.

    ...my 2 cents

LA Watermelon - all by itself

I have found that other watermelons leave a slight burning paper smell in the air when used as a stand alone.
Good cause I think your 2 cents + others 2 cents will help to get ChelsB to what she is looking for.

She has a lot of watermelons in her stash and I do mean a LOT. I don't want to pop the screenshot she sent me - I'll leave that up to her.

I will say she has eighteen watermelons --- yes 18 --- but no LA watermelon or FLV Watermelon.

Slight "paper" burning smell, hmmm, were you a 60's - 70's kid? Sorry, I'll stop now. ;)

LA is a straight up watermelon candy for sure. MB big watermelon is candy also to me. Not as much as LA but still candy. I really like pur but my fav is NR watermelon. Its different than the pur and stronger
Now were cooking! That is exactly what ChelsB is looking for. :)

@ChelsB you may want to add LA Watermelon and FLV Watermelon to your cart. Look at what dc99 posted, I know you have PUR and I don't see MB Big Watermelon in your list. It's up to you.
    This is your baby!!!

ChelsB, do you have FLV Candy Roll? That is a very nice one for any time you're looking to turn something towards "candy land". Might want to get that too because it will add a very nice candy element into the mix - but not until you've made and tested the recipe as is.

you should try dfs watermelon but it's $5.50 for a 1oz bottle (29.6ml) but all of dawn's flavors I have tried have always been spot on for me....

I too, have been on a watermelon quest. Though I am looking for "fresh fruit," and not candy profile.

I like where @ShowMeTwice is going with their thoughts. When I inquired earlier, @Myk was kind enough to share what works for him. And, it too, uses a combination of different watermelon concentrates.

I have yet to return to my watermelon venture (she is a cruel, cruel, mistress); but I have it bookmarked to try.
    :)

@IDJoel -- that's why I added FA Fuji to the recipe, it adds contrast and also by inc/dec Fuji you control the balance between "fresh fruit" versus "candy-ish". If I recall correctly lowering Fuji brings more "fresh" - I may have that backwards and it could be the other way around (honestly I don't remember).

I just looked at the recipe you linked from Myk and below he mentions INW Watermelon. It's a good candy watermelon (another that ChelsB doesn't have). I prefer INW Melon over it though because its a more realistic "melon" for me anyhow.

All this talk of watermelon...grrrr...I want to eat some NOW but don't have any! Next grocery store run I'm getting some. :p

IF (big if) I am trying to get a mint / vanilla flavor, plenty of TFA Creme de Menthe on hand ...
Should I try a light vanilla (TFA Vanilla Swirl), a creamy vanilla (TFA French), or maybe some VBIC ?
on just play mad mixer and do twelve of whatever... ?

I'd start with the vanilla swirl and creme de menthe

I was at Trader Joe's a few days ago and bought a watermelon. I asked for a lesson on to tell a good one  . Have been eating it for the past days and oh my it is delicious and seedless too.

...y'all got me wanting watermelon and I have no LA !

I do have the TFA Capella Double Watermelon.
Made 15 mls at 5%...vaped it a bit then added 5% more.
Not noticing a burnt paper smell - have gone outside and come back in to check.

Not bad flavor wise...but not near as good as with LA

Edited : It's Capella not TFA

I am vaping Gallagher’s (Watermelon) Ice Pop. I forgot the recipe included WS-23 so I was like WHAT. Yesterday it was around 58 degrees during the day so thought maybe my juice was cold — seriously. For those of you that recommended 0.5% WS-23, this percentage is working well for me. I get the cold and no menthol so thank you all.

As far as the sub of 3% FLV Watermelon for 5% MB, this is just about right for me. This recipe was developed for one of the Developed guys who wanted to really taste the watermelon. I do get it upfront however as far as being in my face, I may need to up it by an additional percent as the WS-23 may be offsetting this a bit for me. As is though it is tasty for me and this is a recipe I will mix again — YMMV.

The Cranberry Fizz On The Rocks that I also added WS-23, I will let steep for a few days before trying — stay tuned. I have high hopes for it.

    Somewhere between here and there
Double check - I thought you bought that a bit back

I thought so too. The only thing I had with honey in the name was honey and honeycomb.

I guess BCF didn't take the weekend off, got up this morning to a shipping email from them, meant to get here Thursday via Fedex, so glad I will get my order before I leave home next weekend :)

I got an email from BCF also. I'm still debating whether to place a second order.
