The husband of one of my wife's coworkers vapes as I found out when we were invited over to their place yesterday for a BBQ. He mentioned he absolutely loved a Caramel Butter Pecan liquid a friend used to make but he can't get it anymore. Was thinking about throwing together a batch for him to see what he thinks, but I wanted to throw my own spin on it.

Was thinking Butter Pecan (CAP) and Caramel (FA). Also wanted to add a slight creaminess but I don't have an ice cream flavor so I was debating between vanilla custard (CAP) or Buttercream (CAP). For my own twist I'm thinking a splash of Kentucky Bourbon (TPA) and MAYBE Banana (CAP).

I think I'm just worried about overdoing it since I'm so new to mixing and definitely don't want to drown out the core Caramel Butter Pecan flavor I wanted to mix.

So....what's the main reason it seems many people prefer the INW Yes We Cheesecake over CAP NY Cheesecake and/or TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust? Is there really a big difference, as the reviews for it on BCF suggest? I'm wondering...if it's really that good...that maybe I don't need a 10mL to start with, but ought to go ahead with a 30mL.

For me it tastes more realistic- has the bit a tangy or sour milk/dairy flavor. I’m not making it sound very good but hopefully you get it. It steeps a bit quick imo too.

I use it in a trinity that I found on Reddit. And I can’t get enough of it so I make about 250mls at a time. Let it steep 2-3 weeks then add flavors like lemon or strawberry etc etc when needed. I have a large bottle that i made a few months ago and it tastes even better with the longer steep time.

INW @3%
CAP NYC @2%
TPA Graham @1%

Disclaimer Alert: I use it with a higher total flavor % because I like higher total flavor amounts but I keep the ratio the same —-

I checked ELR but they didn't really have what I was looking for. There were caramel butter pecan recipes that will give me a good baseline for what I want to do but not much with additional flavors besides ice cream. I think I'll end up just doing a splash of the buttercream, about 1.5% or so, and about 2% of the bourbon to give a little kick. I think I'll leave out the banana this time and maybe try that later.

Not me. I'm still 100% student, and at the kindergarten level at that.
Yep, I am a total noob when it comes to DIY juice, but I'm getting there and I'm having fun! That said, I've gained tons of valuable knowledge, had a few laughs, and received help and some nudging. I don't think I would be where I'm at today without this forum, and not just with DIY juice.

An easy to use Calculator for Mac Book ?
On my Mac I run Parallels Desktop and Windows within PD (virtualization). My juice app is running on Windows within Parallels Desktop. Keeps things simple + easy for me.

If you are more adventuresome and looking for raw speed you could go the Apple Boot Camp route and install Windows native. Only thing with Boot Camp and running Windows is when you want to switch back to Mac you'll need to reboot and vice versa. Running Boot Camp with Windows installed is as fast a native PC (depending of course on year/make model) running Win.

    Options. ;)

    Hope that helps.

EDIT: Forgot to add - I don't know how recent your MacBook is but you most likely already have Boot Camp on your drive. Apple includes it as part of the base install. All you would then need is a copy of Windows to install. Google Boot Camp, there are really easy instructions on how to do this.

If you are going to do additions (bourbon, banana, etc.); you might want to offer him a few variations... a sampler pack so to speak. Make one with just the core/basic concentrates, a second with core + bourbon, core +banana, core +bourbon and banana.

If you give him just one "blinged out," everything-and-the-kitchen-sink, and he doesn't like one element; he could write off an otherwise successful mix. Just something to consider. :)

When you mentioned pecans and creams, I immediately thought of Wonder Flavours Roasted Pecans & Cream. A while back, there were several folks on this thread, who were raving about this one as a stand-alone winner. This might give you the nut and cream elements you seek; and only need a light tweak on the caramel.

I haven't tried it yet, myself; but all the ravings got me to put it on my list. I will have it when last weekend's BCF order arrives. :)

I might try both since you dont have ice cream. Maybe 2% vanilla custard and 1% buttercream

Holy holy vanilla and gooey butter cake came today. They threw in a 30ml bottle of hhv v2!!! (Probably because I said @PJReid had referred me ;)). Nice surprise... I now own a lifetime supply of vanilla I think
I ordered the holy holy vanilla over the weekend. I’ve never tried it. Know if any good recipes that use it? I’m done with getting recipes that never seem to work off of elr so I’m hoping someone here has a decent recipe

Good grief! Step away from this thread for one day; and your 10 pages behind!! To Punk, and anyone else who has been waiting on me... I appologize.

Thanks for the lead. I've added it to my shopping list (and I just got it mostly cleaned up). When yesterday's BCF order comes it, I will have cracked 400 concentrates.

NR W.M. is on my list too. Actually, there were several of the NR fruit line that caught my attention. Have you tried any of the three mango offerings? And, if so, what did you think?

You may already know it; but, @eMado has worked the old pinned list into a much easier to read table, and updated it. It is linked on the last page of the pinned list. Here is a direct link:
    https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/threads/best-lorann-super-strength-flavors-for-vaping-–-color-coded-spreadsheet.832093/#post-20102453

Thanks for the tip. I've added it to my notes. :thumb:

Sorry for being so late to the party, Punk. Sounds like you may have already got a working solution to your challenge.

If you are still interested, in what Juice Calculator can do (and can't), I would suggest we go over the the New Calculator to Try thread, and talk about it there. It will breathe a little life into it. And, we won't bore those who don't use that calculator. Of course, anyone interested, is welcome too. I will finish my initial thoughts over there, and be sure and tag you, so it is easy to find. :)

    Sorta... see above. ;):D
Pur mango is my fav mango. It does take a couple weeks steep before you will like it. I really like golden eye also. It steeps in a couple of days. Both are pretty realistic mangos. The golden eye seems to blend better with other fruits but either work. I dont care for the papaya mango. I think I have all there fruits
