Ok,I plan today to resume with my cases.I'm probably going to get interrupted by Bf. He stops by almost every day which isn't a bad thing.I just have to get used to having so much company. LOL It's not like he's keeping me from anything urgent. He's been alone the last few years and he gets lonely and bored so he's always happy to take me anywhere I need to go.:) I worry that he's going to want more than I'm willing to give but that hasn't happened yet.
Thank ya'll for being my sounding board..........

I’m getting tired of all the recipes I have in rotation but just don’t know what I want. I decided to grab a sft of fa ice cream to change things up.

Here's a website I use for inspiration when I'm all tapped out of ideas:

    Ingredient Pairings

Just type an ingredient name into the search box and hit enter. It will return a list of flavor pairings for you. It's great for creating new mixes you might not thought of before. :)

    Somewhere between here and there
    Sooooo any good?

I dripped it on top of a strawberry I’ve been trying in an rda. It’s good. It doesn’t have as much mouth feel as lb ice cream and to me it’s not as sweet. However for some reason I only mixed it at 2% so the flavor seemed a little weak to me. I might go back and bump it up a couple percent and try again.

I got Case B organized today and my Vanilla side has room.Since I'm not a real big vanilla lover I don't have any plans to get any others..I'm hoping to move my additives in with the Vanilla and that will give me more room in Case A for my FLV stuff. I'm getting there. Still 4-5 more cases to organize.

I guess I have barely have got my toes in the rabbit hole with my one case for flavors
I like to be organized. It just doesn't quite work as intended, I've got 3 compartments in my of DIY/rebuildable organizer devoted to flavors. One is for vanilla, creams, custards, vbic, etc. One For fruits and whatnot, and one for miscellaneous. The compartments are pretty deep, and they're just kind of tossed in there willy nilly, so I have to dig through them to get what I want.

I used to have all my flavors in a drawer organizer ( a few are still in there). It really bites to search for every flavor you want. A couple cases like this will get you started.I number each space and make a list of what's in each space. Makes life easier..LOL

That's good for all your misc tool stuff, cotton, wire, coils whatever but you really need the other kind if you want to find your flavors easily.

Everyone has their own way of organizing and I'd be lost without the cases. I have 6 cases for flavors and there's still some in the drawer that I have to rebottle. I lettered my cases A-F. Case A has Chocolate and Custard one side and my FLV stuff on the other.Case B has Vanillas and additives one side and my Cheesecake and Graham stuff on the other.Case C has Cream one side and Nuts on the other. Case D is all fruit.Case E is base one side (biscuits, cereal, cookies etc.)Other side has bakery. I haven't even listed Case F yet but it has Booze on one side and Citrus on the other.

The husband is not mad at the dog, so it turns out. He was relieved. He said he just wanted to stop moving him. That like, little.... creature refused to come inside last night. I am thinking it got cold enough he will tonight. I even had the husband call on the phone but he was like "Merde to you."

Oh well he has an insulated dog house.

Using Zing and one of @PJReid remixes as my inspirations, I came up with my own that I call Zesty. I steeped it for three days although I had planned to steep longer. No harshness, no rough edges. For no particular reason I keep wanting to raise Lemon Zest to 0.5% and may or may not do so the next time. Other than that I am happy with my version and this is what I will mix going forward.

    Zesty
    1.0% FLV Cream
    1.5% DIYFS Holy Vanilla
    2.0% FE Lemon
0.25% Lemon Zest (UK Blends FA)
    2.0% VT Sour Lemon
    1.5% FLV Vanilla Pudding

That's similar to the cases I use for flavorings smaller than the 4oz. size. I numbered the caps/lids with a paint marker. Used index cards cut in 1/2...to put the numbers and corresponding flavoring names on them, that are in each section. Taped each one to the inside of the case lid, above the section that contains those flavorings. Makes it really easy to pull flavorings and then replace them after I'm done making my DIY.

Then later, on my recipe cards, I wrote the corresponding number beside each flavoring in the recipe. That also helps when it's time to pull the ones I need for a particular one.

:( — my BCF order did not make it out the door yesterday and is stuck in Shipping Label Created mode. Possibly USPS has not updated the status which is always highly possible.
Just checked and mine is the same.
