Question for you, @FranC: INW Shisha Vanilla is on my shopping list, but, in the meantime, which of the following would be the best sub in your Vanilla Milkshake Base: CAP French Vanilla, CAP Simply Vanilla, FA Vanilla Bourbon, or TPA Vanillin?
You can nix the last 2.. No good sub there but I'd try the French Vanilla.

Yes, that's the one I have been asking about.
I substituted Vanilla Bean Gelato for the Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, not a fan of Acetyl Propionyl, or other known Inhalation hazards. I smoked cigarettes for 40 years, trying to let my lungs die gently ....
    That sub is fine:)

    so here's a random question :D
if I want to make a flavoring to use later or in other recipes
for instance I want to make an apple pie flavoring to use in my caramel apple pie cheesecake and maybe in another recipe as well

can I just mix the flavorings with no added pg/vg at the same % that the calculator gives me without adding any pg/vg.... would this work to combine flavors to make a new flavor?

    Somewhere between here and there
I found three vt flavors that I have that weren’t on my list. I looked through four pages of bcf orders but didn’t find it. I remember ordering three vt lemon flavors and know I have them but they didn’t make it on my list. I tried to find the order so I could see if I left anything else off but didn’t find it. They are in bottles with green on them. I’m not sure where I bought them. They are different labels than what bcf uses.

Yes, just keep the ratios the same. I’ve done it with lmp and a couple others. You just need to remember the percentage you want to use in your recipes.

Cheek the other places you bought from.

I thought of doing that at one time but sometimes I like to change things so I decided against it.

I looked at my orders for every vendor I could think of and still didn't find where I ordered those VT flavors.

BCF has a lock on being the only US seller of VT flavorings. So if it didn't come from them, if must've come from CF, or maybe VT's website?

ETA: Have you ordered flavorings from Canada? Maybe there's a vendor there who carries VT.

I went to start a note on it on elr and discovered that I never put it on my list. I wonder how many others aren’t on it.
Probably as many as I’m missing. I have 3 full cases, plus a jumbled mess in a shoebox. I have @240 flavors on ELR, I think. Something ain’t adding up, here o_O. I guess when my next case gets here Wednesday and I reorganize, I’ll have to check each one against my stash list. Like I wasn’t dreading doing it already...

I think on ELR, the tool button gives you the option of making a “one shot”.

Did you order from Chef's? They have green on the bottles (and hard to read labels).

I got some mixing done today, was in a fruity mood - cranberry, apple, strawberry, lemon oh my! I didn't get to all I wanted to but I have enough custards/milkshake types already mixed that I wanted to make sure I had alternates to switch to. Looking forward to warmer weather and summer style libations too!
