The "no lemon" doesn't seem surprising to me. Many/most lemon concentrates are fast faders. And, with your mix being nearly 2 months old, I would expect the lemon to be gone. You could try re-adding the lemon components to the mix (or portion of the mix) and see if that perks it up.

Lemon Sicily, in particular, only has an identifiable presence, for no more than 2 weeks (to my palate).

If I am mixing a recipe, that uses ingredients that will require a long time to develop, I will leave the lemon(s) out of it until I am only a week away from mixing (if that long). Otherwise, by the time the rest of the ingredients have come into their own, the lemon has left the show.
:)
Yes as a matter of fact Nick Evans does suggest you make the custard base & steep & then add the lemons when you’re ready to vape.

haha good luck, I am about to mix up a recipe I found on ECF:
Stawberry Crack
4% TFA Strawberry
4% TFA Strawberry Ripe
3% TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust
3% TFA Bavarian Cream
1% TFA Dragonfruit

Dont worry it doesnt actually have crack in it :nun:
update after 12 hour steep:
Wow, just wow, even tho the strawberry is not really there (yet) it is a really lovely flavor, Bavarian creme and the Graham Crust are dominating at this point but its such a lovely vape!

If anyone is interested I think I've somehow chanced upon the recipe for Pepto Bismol. It could be added to your favorite milkshake base or even a topper to that bourbon flavored ejuice you can't seem to put the finishing touches on. If you want the recipe PM me, I don't want some fancy juice maker company stealing this one.

I am back home again and am going to try to proceed to be busy and wash the dishes.........
You’re making me feel lazy. I’m sitting here playing with my Chef’s order while I wait for the yard guys to finish. I have been assigned more priming and painting today so it’ll all be ready for the boys to install it this weekend. Just dread getting out in the heat to do it. I’d rather stay inside and sort through my pile of recipes. That should tell you something, cause I think I’ve been trying to get motivated to cull the pile for several months.

It was ok but I wasn't overly impressed with the Bill D Lemonade. I might go back and try it again. I'm still in search of the ultimate lemonade recipe.

Without the Pink Champagne, I do get the sweet and tart lemon taste. As far as true lemonade, I was never a big lemonade drinker or any juice for as much as I like lemons. In ID-10 review, he states it taste like Country Time Lemonade — fake lemonade made from a powder mix. I have never had Country Time so I cannot relate. Bill D. Lemonade.

I will mix it again without the champagne. I have been on some meds which could affect my taste so maybe later I will try it again with the champagne.

It is unseasonably warm, I grant you. But after the cold, wet spring we've had, it's welcome. I'll be complaining if this keeps up, though.

On topic, I am finally trying the Lemondowskii I mixed on April 15. I had all the right ingredients except for FLV Vanilla Pudding, for which I subbed VT Pudding Base (not a great replacement, I know, but it seemed my best bet). It tastes like vaguely disgusting rubber to me. No lemon at all.

    What is wrong with me??

I have been finishing up on partial bottles with one of them being Lemondowskii. I mixed this April 28 with no subs. I can still taste it although the overall flavor is in its fade phase. For myself the next time I mix this I will vape it up on or before one month last past.

We had our first few beautiful days a bit on the hot side but humidity was low. They are gone again now. Gloomy and 66 for today.
Its in the 60's today in Eastern Panhandle of WV. What a treat as its been ungodly hot since the middle of May.
Rest of the week is suppose to be in the 70's. Really liking this.

    :)

Nice and sunny here. Too damn hot. Spending the day at work as usual then cleaning the house when I get home. Grandparents are in town visiting so they and my parents are coming over for a BBQ sunday for father's day. Gotta spend some of this evening sprinkling lime on the backyard to get rid of that dog smell.

View attachment 820471 What do these look like to y’all? I don’t have ice for the first, and I’m afraid the white chocolate one will be too sweet (obvs without the super sweet). OR, @PJReid , you have a better recipe for the boozy one? I have vta botanical gin. What do you think of something with star fruit?

You can use WS-23 or Koolada in place of the ice. I haven't mixed anything with Gin and Lemonade - I have concentrated on mostly combos with lime and/or cranberry. Let me think about this a bit.

After last week’s fatal mixing attempt, decided to give it a try again yesterday. I had eight mixes I wanted to make however ended up mixing five. The other three will need to wait temporarily.

i mixed: Cranberry Fizz, Fizzy Lemon Sherbert, Lime Slush by mlNikon, Milk & Sugar Cookies by Vurve and Bill D Lemonade. I decided I liked Cranberry Fizz better without the WS-20, Lime Slush and Milk & Cookies are new to me. The three that have been tabled temporarily are: Strawrora Limealis by humanpuck, Gallagher’s Ice Pop and Heart of Andes.
    Cranberry fizz?

I really like to drink and vape lemonade. I used one of Bill's recipes for lemonade for a long time but it's almost 30% flavor. I tried knocking it in half but it just wasn't very good. I still have a bunch of FW lemonade used in his recipe. Lemonade was my regular vape for driving to work every morning for a long time. Now I'm kind of stuck on the best lemon meringue pie. Pur lemonade isn't bad. I mixed it half and half with their strawberry lemonade for a while.

    Cranberry fizz?

Oops — it is @PJReid Cranberry Gin on the Rocks recipe. I have mixed and vaped so much of it before I bought WS-23 that I like it better without the WS-23. I am going to try Gallagher’s Ice Pop without the WS-23 too the next time I mix it. I like the coolant effect and although I cannot taste WS-23, I feel it does something to my wonky taste buds as strange as it sounds.

Which I meant to do, come to think of it. For all I know, I did and forgot. Wouldn't put that past this unreliable brain of mine. I'll re-add the lemon and see what happens.

I didn't mean to let it sit so long before trying it. Time gets away from me very easily, though. I was shocked when I saw how long it had been since I last mixed.

I still have Bill D Lemonade in my tank and nothing has changed — no lemon taste what so ever. I decided I am not going to try it again with FW Pink Champagne. If anything, I will buy the real FW Pink Bubbly and see if that works better for me.

I just (re?)added the lemon component to the Lemondowskii and noticed I in fact mixed it on May 21, not April 15, as I said yesterday (I had planned to mix it in April but lost my oomph before I got to it). I am comforted to know that I wasn't as remiss or forgetful as it originally seemed.

I'm vaping the revised version right now and still don't find it particularly lemony, but I suppose it's unfair to judge after only ten minutes. On va voir.

I don't think Bill D Lemonade is strong enough. It makes a great lemon trinity but I think you would need to use the trinity at least 6% (probably higher) in your lemonade mix to get enough lemon flavor. JMHO

Lemondowskii is really good with .25% FA Lemon Zest added in. It is also great with Pippa's lemon trinity instead of the lemon in the original recipe. My Zing Remix as every bit as good as Lemondowskii and is actually quite lemony and zesty!
