I still have Bill D Lemonade in my tank and nothing has changed — no lemon taste what so ever. I decided I am not going to try it again with FW Pink Champagne. If anything, I will buy the real FW Pink Bubbly and see if that works better for me.

I don't think Bill D Lemonade is strong enough. It makes a great lemon trinity but I think you would need to use the trinity at least 6% (probably higher) in your lemonade mix to get enough lemon flavor. JMHO

I just (re?)added the lemon component to the Lemondowskii and noticed I in fact mixed it on May 21, not April 15, as I said yesterday (I had planned to mix it in April but lost my oomph before I got to it). I am comforted to know that I wasn't as remiss or forgetful as it originally seemed.

I'm vaping the revised version right now and still don't find it particularly lemony, but I suppose it's unfair to judge after only ten minutes. On va voir.

Lemondowskii is really good with .25% FA Lemon Zest added in. It is also great with Pippa's lemon trinity instead of the lemon in the original recipe. My Zing Remix as every bit as good as Lemondowskii and is actually quite lemony and zesty!

For your remix on Zing do you think CCW Devon Cream could work instead of the VTA Devon Cream?

@NolaMel - this is something I made up last summer but never actually made. It might be worth playing with for a Gin and Lemon.

Milkshake day...mixed a chocolate, strawberry, peach and apple fritter. Also some cereals.
Apple fritter sounds yummy... recipe please, if you don’t mind? :)

I have finished my priming and painting for the day (YAY) and my dough is rising to make buns for veggie burgers for dinner (double super YAY, I hate making bread). NOW I can plow through some of these saved recipes. I’m hoping I have time to mix tomorrow after I put a coat of paint on the half wall. And maybe take that time while I mindlessly paint to ponder why I feel compelled to save all those recipes in the first place. Thin the herd, I must ;)

Definitely, as soon as it steeps a bit and I do any tweaks needed, I will post it. It is a simple recipe and I use
DIYorDie milkboi one shot as the milk/cream base though. Not sure if you are interested in that.

I'm going to mix your Zing #3 once I work my way through the Lemondowskii. Got to get FLV Vanilla Pudding (or maybe I could use VTA Pudding Base and up the vanilla?) and FA Lemon Zest for it.

I thought about VTA Pudding Base and that might work if you up the vanilla. I think I have only made on recipe with the Pudding Base so don't have much experience with it. FLV Vanilla Pudding is full and gives a lot of body and mixes well with the silky Devon Cream. Pudding Base might do the same thing. I honestly don't know.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I will give it a try.

This sounds very good. I have everything except INW Shisha Lemon. I do have INW Lemon Mix and INW Lemon as well as all the trinity lemons. Would you recommend one of these to sub for the INW Shisha Lemon? Thanks.

Lemon zest is awaiting shipping. Whoop whoop, I have everything else :)

I adapted my recipe from one posted on E L R by Sheerluck_Ohms. You can see that by searching E L R for French 75. Everything is better with FW Pink Champagne. I went lower in my version than in the original with champagne flavors because Pink Champagne does have an undertone of berries.

I think that a good Lemon Gin could be made with:
    VTA Botanical Gin 3.75%
    FE Lemon 2 to 2.5%
FA Lemon Zest .25 to .5%
VTA Sour Lemon 2 to 2.5%
    CAP Super Sweet .5%
    WS-23 .3%

You could get really fancy and add VTA Tonic Water to the above for some bitter flavor is you like that - maybe 2 to 3%.

INW Lemon would be good in it - not quite as sweet.

I haven’t tried it before. Is it just a cream?

Eh, I'll probably spring for the FLV Vanilla Pudding so I can mix the recipe as you've tweaked it. I'd rather experiment with using VTA Pudding Base in it after I've tasted the real thing.

    Here is Wayne's description:

Milkboi is a product I created to help mixers have an easy way to mix up “milk” style recipes, with much ease, without losing much customizability. The flavoring contains no toppings. No fruit, no candies, nothing. It’s only a silky, velvety, and milky base layer, meant to sit beneath the toppings of your choosing.

My take is this: I don't do well with most creams and the milkboi doesn't bother me or have weird aftertastes like a lot of creams do for me. I do use some whipped cream and a few others but many are just too heavy for me. So I use milkboi in many of my mixes instead of creams/milks, especially things like strawberries and cream, milkshakes and some cakes.
