Icy Lime Slushy
(Based on Nick Evan's "Fluorescent green slush - spot on replica of NGS."
Aurora (FA) 1%
Lime (Flavorah) .5%
Lime Cordial (VTA) 4%
Marshmallow (FA) 2%
Super Sweet (CAP) .75%
WS-23 30% .75%

I lowered the Lime Cordial from 6% to 4% and added FA Aurora. This is a great summer vape for anyone who likes lime. It is very refreshing. I have been vaping it all day today while I clean out drawers, pack up outgrown clothes, and move the 5-year-olds clothes to a new chest of drawers in a different bedroom. I can't say it helped my grumpiness, but it tastes great! :)

I also tested "English Blood" - that is the name on ELR. It is a pomegranate limeade and is very good if a little sweet. This will be a favorite for the summer too. It might benefit from a little Aurora magic and I might change the TFA Key Lime to VTA Persian Lime. I really do like this one a lot as written but always think I can make it better.

Pomegranate Limeade
Fizzy Sherbet (VTA) 1%
Key Lime (TPA) 2%
Pomegranate (FA) 1%
Pomegranate (TPA) 4%
Shisha Lime (VTA) 1%
Soda Base (SC) (Real Flavors) 2%
WS-23 30% .8%

Tested a 2 week old batch of Liam Davey's "Sheerluckozade Pink." The flavor totals are pretty high in this but it is an attempt to clone a commercial juice. I like this very much and the combo has great potential. VTA Grapefruit is a great flavor - as lush as FW Ruby Red. I am not crazy about the FW Lemonade. It is a bit dry to my taste. Next time I will lower all of the flavors and use the Lemon Trinity in this mix. Very, very good.

Sheerluckozade Pink
Fizzy Sherbet (VTA) 2%
Grapefruit (VTA) 3.5%
Lemonade (Natural) (FW) 8%
Raspberry (Berryl) (FA) 2%
Super Sweet (CAP) .5%
WS23 (30%) .5%
This needs to steep for 7 days.

My own creation and I do think it is very good.

Lemon Gin
Botanical Gin (VTA) 3.75%
Lemon (FE) 2%
Lemon Zest (UK Blends) (FA) .5%
Sour Lemon (VTA) 2%
Super Sweet (CAP) .5%
WS-23 30% .5%

I am literally shocked and amazed I was able to share this.

Glad you like it. Who makes that one?

How are you doing with your Blueberry recipe?

    It’s flavour art. I did a sft at 5%.

The base for the blueberry cookie is a step in the right direction. I just did versions 3 and 4. I decided to lower the boysenberry to .5 and added Hs cream at 1% to both. V3 has 1% sugar cookie added and V4 has 1% inw biscuit added instead of sugar cookie. I’m trying to bring out the cookie flavor more.

The reason the one with the FW lemonade is so high is that the FW lemonade is weak. I used to use it in one of bill’s recipes and I think it was around 14% in that. I’m sure you could probably half the lemonade with the trinity or another better lemonade.

The HS Cream is good stuff. Have you tried TFA Blueberry Extra with FA Bilberry?

No I haven’t. I used the boysenberry since Letitia recommended it. I can definitely try it with the bilberry. I’ll check my list but I’m pretty sure I have it.

That's the plan. I will let you all know how it turns out. Lemon and Grapefruit with a touch of Raspberry IS a lovely combination.

@Letitia I saw in another thread that you are using FLV Boysenberry - what do you think of it?

I'm absolutely loving PUR Boysenberry. It's a darker berry taste, but has a lot of the raspberry in it - probably 40% blackberry/60 raspberry. taste. It's not too sweet, ever so slightly tart, and very fresh/ripe bursting berry taste

They are all good. You would have to do sft's to see which you like best. In order of my preference......
    1, INW Rhubarb
    2.VTA Rhubarb Compote
    3.WF Sweet and Sour
I'm just terrible about testing flavors. I need to give myself a good talking-to.

I've used INW Rhubarb in a couple of mixes, though, and it has a taste I don't like. Someone somewhere (not here) described it as "green" and "vegetal," and I can see what they were getting at. For me, it's almost acrid. I should at least sft the other two to see if they suit me more.

And then I should test everything else.

Haven't and probably won't sft the FLV boysenberry but have used it to boost a blueberry yogurt I wasn't happy with and did a couple tester mixes with it. So far really liking it. It's definitely a keeper. I don't normally order jammy flavors so doubt I'll try the preserves but did order VT Orange marmalade tonight from BCF. Love BCF so much, I had requested VT yellow passion fruit and they got that in, also picked up a few more flavors. You should take a look at WF boysenberry raspberry, pretty sure I got that one too, just frank on vu said it's great; easy to bend towards either dark or red berry with percentage changes. I've learned that I prefer blackberry notes rather than full blackberry. Probably why I'm so happy with boysenberry and forest fruit.

hm it's a bit perfumy...maybe after it steeps?
trying to make an apple candy, I wanted more of like a jolly rancher...but the yum yum gummy made it more of a gummy and i think it's what's giving it a perfume taste

    tfa apple 3.5%
    pur country apple 3.5%
    euro flavor sweet watermelon 3%
    diyfs lemon .5%
    tfa sour 1.5%
    pur super sweet 1%
    diyfs yum yum gummy 2%

otherwise it's pretty good of the shake, maybe a bit too sweet (hehehe ok overly sweet but it was supposed to be a candy vape) I may not use the super sweet next time

Rhubarb is perfect for my tastes. It can take the sweet out of any mix with fruit. I actually like the tartness. What % did you use it at?

After a few more coffees I will do my 2 mixes and hopefully, the 2 sft's also. I still have 2 of my new mixes from the last batch to try. Plus I have to change 2 light bulbs cause it's getting a little dim at my desk here. This is actually not much at all to do considering I have all day to do it. It's just hard sometimes to get my .... up and moving. I also want to look through all recipes just mixed to make sure I'm happy with them all.

On my last coffee so I have to get up and get moving soon. Light bulbs come first so I can see to print my labels...LOL

I looked over the recipes and I'm happy with them all. There's probably a half dozen I'm iffy on liking just because they are out of my norm. Hoping to find some different stuff I like:)

My mixing accomplishments for the weekend are two remixes on the blueberry cookie and so far have tried one sft. We went to my FiL’s yesterday and noticed his step stringers off his deck are in bad shape so I have to go over later to see if I can fix them. It’s got eight steps going down to the ground so it could kill someone if they broke and the person fell down the steps.

Oh, wow. Hope you can get them fixed up to be safer.

I have the 2 sft's done and about ready to do the 2 mixes now
