I recommend that everyone has a bottle of Lemon and Honey Cough Drop juice mixed up for those inevitable colds that come along. I mixed some up a year or so ago and haven't needed it until today. It is a sinus clearer for sure and I can taste it. SO glad I have it. It doesn't make me feel better but at least I can vape.

Eucalyptus and Mint (INAWERA) 1.5%
Honey (INAWERA) .25%
Lemon (FE) 3%

I tried some of that this past winter. It’s a refreshing change. I thought it tasted just like the cough drops.

My scale times out on batteries, so I always plug it into a wall outlet. Don't want to risk being interrupted in the middle of measuring out a flavor and finding the weight gone when I returned.
Yup, that's the other reason I like AC adapters. Ya just never know what crisis will pop up when you're trying to do something serious:unsure:

With all my aggravation over the cartridges, I forgot to mention that I figured out why I couldn't find one of my flavors while mixing the other night. It was a 30ml bottle in the large slot in the polish case and for some reason I wrote the wrong location down. It was in the right case and on the right side. I was looking for a 10ml bottle and not a 30ml.
This was my dilemma, only much worse than yours. I had no organization at all. I was ordering flavors I already had. I finally got it together and started organizing by brand. Everyone has their own way but I think this is working for me.

I can’t remember if it was Joel that suggested it but someone recommended just putting new flavors in the next slot available in the case and add it to the list. It works well for me. When I started out, I was trying to put them in alphabetical order but it was a nightmare to reorganize when I got new flavors. I put in the time and made a master list of what was in each case and it’s location. I just started putting flavors in my 5th case and need to update my list.

I’m waiting to try 5 star custard and cryptic vanilla that I have steeping. I’m expecting those to be pretty sweet. I’ve still got more tobacco flavors to try and before long the nets that papa sent should be ready.
You have gotten so good at steeping:) I knew ya could do it.

when I started mixing years ago I was mixing around 30%
    now i'm at 15%
if i had patience I'd mix at 10% but I don't want to wait on steeping :p

mixed up a banana nut bread, we'll see how it is tomorrow
still vaping on my attempt at an apple jolly rancher that's more of a gummy lol the perfume taste is mostly gone still a sort of floral taste, I'll have to tweak it next time, less sweetener and no yum yum gummy
I don't think I ever mixed anything as high as 30% but 20-25 wasn't uncommon years ago.

I'll have to stick to my cough drops to get my lemon. Hope you feel better soon:)

This is a good thread to ask this question: What does your PG taste like? I'm not going to say what others have told me or what I've experienced but I recently had 2 batches of PG that I got refunded for.
Doesn't have much taste to me.

This is a good thread to ask this question: What does your PG taste like?
I am like Fran, and really don't get any real taste from plain PG (yes; I've vaped plain PG straight from the bottle:D). If someone was holding a gun to my head demanding an answer; I would say have to say it had the slightest medicinal/chemical/artificial taste. I routinely vape unflavored, in a 40PG/60VG 18mg/mL mix, and all I taste is a tiny hint of "sweet." Any bit of flavoring added, and these nuances completely disappear for me.

Now, I will be the first to admit, I am nothing remotely close to some sort of a "super taster." Others may very well be able to discern flavors my poor old abused palate can not. So, as always, YMMV. :)

I found a recipe for a previously mixed juice yesterday. I had made a note on it to do a remix with a different cranberry or a rhubarb. I'm sure I have other recipes with fix-it notes. Today's project will be looking though previously mixed recipes ( big stack). I really need to get rid of the stack of recipes so I have to sort them out into keep, toss and fix piles first.

Well, I got through the pile making a note to self that I need to start making more notes on tried recipes. I tossed out some obvious fails. Still have a pretty good stack to go through again sometime....maybe...LOL. For now, they are getting stuffed in an envelope.

Going to daughters in the morning so this is my last day to mix this week and I don't think that's going to happen.
