I've never noticed a taste but you got me thinking so I just put a drop on my tongue... (now my taste is still a bit off after breaking out in a rash and hives monday night, donno what spawned that) but I got a slight metallic taste is all not much but that's what it was a hint of....

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    hehehehe and YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will need to check these out! hm pretty sure i've seen chili powder somewhere... I have
Capsicum and Jalapeno for a nice kick ;) and I do need something to go with my Worcestershire, still not sure why I got that other than just for s&g :p I'm sure at one time I had something planned for it (as well as all the other odd flavors) but for the life of me I can't remember anymore.....
There's a mixer on ELR who specializes in these sort of flavorings. He buys a lot of OoO flavors. IIrc, he's done sour cream and onion dip, vinegar/dill potato chips, fried chicken.....things like that as well as some delicious cakes.

    Good morning, Fran and all.

What do you do with all the bottles of stuff you have mixed up? It seems I have a ton of them lying around. Or do you use up a certain number before you mix again?
I used to keep all my mixed stuff in a kitchen drawer with dividers. Now that I'm moving I have too much stuff scattered but I'll get settled again.

I have a box for the mixes I'm not using in a tank.

I do that for the ones not in that day's use but they do pile up quickly. I usually wait until some are gone before mixing more but just wondered what others do. Otherwise, I would end up with like 200 mixed juices around.

I have intentions of limiting myself to X number of mixes (more or less). I'll figure it out once I get moved.

so no more spending now :p lol and I have no more room on my display stand, so gonna have to start putting lesser used flavorings back into my little plastic toolbox for storage.

still tempted by ooo's flavors but I'm not willing to pay that price per bottle, I'm cheap ;) I rarely pay over $1.50 for 15ml lol

I have about 10 to 15 different flavors that I try to keep on hand but mine are all 30ml bottles or smaller., usually I only end up with about 5 filled.. now that I have my scale I'm going to start looking at maybe getting 120ml bottles, I have some old ones I need to clean out and I can reuse them :D I've kept all my bottles from juices I bought ;) just wash them out or boil them if they won't melt and then reuse them for my diy

I think I now have as complete of a flavoring arsenal as I can get :D but of course there will always be more that I want ;)
about 150 flavorings now :D could have sworn it was more, I may need to recheck my onstock with my list....

It is my intention to pare down a tad. I have a few flavors that are just to super sweet for me and they'll be going to a friend. I'll be going over my lists when I get home.
