    Cool.:) Now ya know:lol:

    Do you steep that one?

I usually don't shop for flavors to do specific recipes. I am more likely to buy a flavor because it looks good to me. I usually write my own recipes so that works for me pretty good.

And that's part of the reason that you're way better at mixing than I am.

You'll get there,Hitt.:) I have way more time to devote to it.

I steep everything just because it's easier for me and it's become a habit. Although I did try the mixes I did last week but it's kinda a rushed circumstance. I don't see any big reason that one needs much of a steep though. Maybe 3-4 days?

Good morning mixologist. I have a powerful desire to mix today. Mainly I want to try my hand at a Mango Lassi. LOL. That would mean some other mixes might happen.

It would for me..I mean, the only Mango Lassi I've ever loved was Ahlusion,...if I could get that one down I'd consider myself a pro!:lol::lol:

I will file that idea away for a future cornbread recipe. This is a Cornbread "pudding" so I was thinking something to brighten it up. I am considering a fruit or a booze right now.
I have never tried a Cornbread Salad, but it sure looks good...Was watching YouTube cook shows and saw one. Ya gotta have onion and tomatoes. Cheese is optional but mayo isn't...If you could bottle that send me some. :w00t::w00t::w00t:

I highly advise you to sft it at 2-3% and dont taste it for a week. Then dump it.

Do you have a favorite cake flavor? I haven’t tried my sft yet and now I’m kinda afraid to.

Ok, Fran you motivated me. I cleaned out three tanks and put in new coils and wicks. I loaded them with nonnas cake, flv blueberry muffin, and strubarb custard. I mixed the sft of nonnas cake at 5% and don’t feel like it’s too strong. At first I thought I tasted anise but don’t now. I’m having a hard time describing the flavor. Right now I just taste a light cake flavor.

I almost gave my thoughts on it earlier but didn't want to cloud your impression of it. It's funny though but I also get a slight anise vibe from it; many/most do not. I think of it being more in the cheesecake realm and that's primarily how I have used it.

JF is good, FLV pound cake. Really depends on what direction you want to go. Nona just has a big lemon hit to it and the cake part isnt that good. After a long steep most of the lemon goes away but its still not very good. Of coarse this is just my opinion

I must have let mine steep long enough for the lemon to fade. I have flv pound cake but haven’t gotten around to trying it yet. Do you have a recipe you like it in?
