I hope it comes safely, I freaking HATE evil mailmen/women. We had one in Baltimore where she just DROPPED our mail on the ground by our mailbox. My husband was pretty sure she was doing it and "caught her" on video. He took it down to the post office, and well, knowing the post office she probably wasn't FIRED or anything. But, she was no longer on our route.
Maybe you could do that... ?? It's a thought.
@FranC I know it's a pain for you to not like sweet, but honestly you always post recipes that make me thing and I end up with some less sweet vapes. So, while I salute your suffering, I do want to say I ENJOY your inventiveness.
Kid gone. Went to work Friday. I am going back on as Friday after EVERY vacation now, it's brilliant. Day was awful, new laptop unusable. I found out about a phone glitch talking to the IT guy if BOTH parties don't hang up together, the speaker remains on on the other side. I got to hear a bunch of cursing and how the guy didn't want to "talk to me any more." I hung up in horror in case I heard worse.
But then I was like, Okay this is technically an IT issue. So I sent an email discussing the phone situation, what I heard, and I apologized for him not wanting to talk to me etc. and was here anything I could do to make his life easier, etc. I also said he could come GET the laptop as it was useless to me in its current condition. I CC'd his supervisor and mine ("Mainly because I need her to understand why I could not get things done.")
I received an abject apology and the best IT support I have gotten from that company and well.... They probably DO need to deal with the phone issue. In any case, lots of other annoying stuff, STILL no dragon and also.... The kid left. The house feels all empty now with no dog and kid filling it up. We will have to go up at Christmas, the kid was crying about never seeing Little Dog again. Of course, he does that every time. I think he's just freaked. Those little dogs can live forever and he is bursting with health and energy. I mean....
The dog is gonna die sometime. I tend to think, "Just wait until it happens, little one." However, I am all pragmatic like that. He never cries about US dying but to be fair I don't think much about parents dying and my dad had Hep C for decades (blood transfusion) and has already had one heart attack.
I swear that dude is a TOTAL liberal. Last time it was "climate change' and I expressed my earnest opinion on THAT. This time, it's like.... "Gun control" and I am going to have to tell that twit that if he had his way his OLDEST and favorite daughter would be PROHIBITED from having a gun and did he think I would GO psycho.
Also gun violence has NOTHING to do with MI. MI folks are like 30-40% LESS likely to commit violence as it happens. They are like 60% MORE likely to experience violence. IMHO gun violence is caused by society clashing with values, and the person gets more isolated and like, freaked until they SNAP. That is likely not MI, but probably more some need to help the person just get that we can all agree to disagree and there is LITTLE that can be done to "catch" that person at the right time to intervene. It appears open carry seems to get the job done better than anything and BRAVO Texas.
Ahem. Sorry. Good morning.
