Good morning, random folks Have you any plans this Sunday? I'm gonna try my best to get to trying my FLV strawberry SFT.

Good morning.
I've been thinking about getting into cake. I haven't done much with any cake type flavors before. Have mixed with Vanilla Cupcake DX a couple times and couldn't get much cupcake from it.
So now I'm thinking about a birthday cake, yellow cake, or maybe even a cake batter or poundcake? I'm more interested in rich cake flavor than any frosting that might be part of it. Frosting could be a detractor.

Anyone really like cake and have a go to? Interested in making a pineapple upside down cake maybe too.

I still have to finalize a few recipes and will definitely mix a couple custards tonight, one with intentions of adding a fruit at a later date. And a couple others I'm going to wing...

I just saved that same recipe last week, I got to order from chefs for all the flavors, but looks like my kind of flavor.

FYI Chefs Choice is CCW (Cupcake World) just rebottled & much cheaper.

I like Lemon Crumble Cake, on ELR I think. I have tried a few others without much success.

I saw a couple recipes for that but not an original I think. One was titled as The One by beard Enyawreklaw but was from someone else.
But... They don't have any actual cake flavorings in them . I don't doubt it could taste like cake, just thought that was funny. Sounds tasty. I use VTA's Lemon Meringue Tart a lot as almost a single flavor, so don't really want a lemony cake, though.

Now you have me wanting to try St Louie Butter cake by Mr. Burgundy ut I don't have ooo powdered Sugar. Is there anything else I could use for that one?

The ladies here told me an ongoing 6% coupon at BCF was ECF6. It worked for me twice.

I looked that one up and it’s funny that there’s not a cake flavor in it. I didn’t know that cap made a lemon meringue pie flavor.

Also where can I find the Pink Champagne flavor I seem to be striking out. I wanted to try Bull City Flavoring and it looks promising but I have been a bit searching for that flavor which is one of my FAVORITES for a long time.

I’m trying this after about a two week steep. It’s pretty good if you like lemon cake.
