Yeah, the battery cap is the worst part of the Solo. I haven't tested my others yet, but it's always a struggle to get the cap seated properly in the one that's in service. The Aegis 100's battery cap is smooth as silk, so GeekVape does now how to do things right, which makes it all the more annoying that the Solo's is so crappy.

My caps screws fine but it sticks out slightly and that's what you stand the mod up on...just the battery cap. It is also scratchy if you try sliding it across a wood table. I'm hoping that oring mooshes down more and makes that cap recessed over time.

Kinda weird that my Solo came from ft and the cap works perfectly. It does not stick out either. Now I'm gonna be afraid of crappy caps on my new ones.
