I was just thinking you could make the blahh stuff you have at least usable.
It's possible but not likely. I'm having a hard enough time vaping crap so I'd rather scrap stuff that is too far away from redeeming and focus on stuff that has somewhat of a chance.

Outside of one of my old ADVs I'm not a big fan of menthol. Therefore I am much surprised to like this one right off the bat.

    Icy Blue Vodka
    TFA Menthol .5%
    TFA Blueberry Extra 4%
    FA Bilberry 2%
    PUR Raspberry 1%
    INW Rhubarb .5%
    VTA Russian Vodka 5%
    WS-23 1%

Just curious the thoughts of the Mixers here about using some of these flavors that contain D/A/AP. Do you use them or do you find the same flavor without it? And is there a significant difference in flavor between, let's say CAP V1 and CAP v2?

I'm sure this territory has been crossed many times on this thread but I'll be danged if I go dig it up. :)

I don't worry about the small amounts I use.

I don't worry about using flavors that may contain D/A/AP. I've used them without any negative health effects over the years. Capellas Vanilla Custard V1 is a good example in my case. It tastes better to me than V2, and the only bad effects of using it in my ejuice is that my coils gunk up quicker than with some other flavors. So the coil health is affected, but my health seems to be the same, with or without it.

Well, that's what I was sort of trying to get at. For example, I'm looking at a milk chocolate that has 0.4% of this crap in it. The recipe calls for 6% of this milk chocolate so the D/A/AP will end up being 0.24% (1/400th) of the final mix. Now if that were anthrax then I might worry, but seriously, how much damage can 0.24% do to someone...especially compared to smoking cigarettes??

    I agree.

Bronze, I've seen a few of your posts about struggles with finding decent tobacco, and a preference for NET. You really ought to try Stixx Mixx NETs. Once I tasted it, I really haven't used anything else. And it's a fraction of the price of some others, especially since I mix mine at 6% vs. 30% recommended for N.E.T. and other sites. It could be a good base for you, but I use it as a standalone. My favorite is the American Virginian, but the Sweet Brightleaf is good, and A+ is as well. If you like cigars, Honduran Ligero is good (he was a big time cigar lover)- but like cigars, I tire of it after a while, too. I haven't tried his sweeter ones, because I can enjoy sweet only for a little while before I can't stand it...like eating cookies all day or something for me. Ty, the owner, is a good guy. I ran across his posts on other sites from a few years back while he was learning to do it well. He's quick to answer questions on FB.

A 15ml bottle is like $5, so you could put together a sampler. You can buy from him direct, or Wizard Labs carries his stuff. Nic River used to, but I don't think they do anymore. Anyway, worth a try at those prices, and one of his

I'm getting frustrated with ejuices.com, they sent me a tracking email on Monday, and still shows as pre-shipment, so they printed a shipping label, but still not got it to the post office, if not moved by Friday, guess I will have to start sending messages, I'm only home till the end of next week, and thought I would have plenty of time to get it in time, now I am not so sure at this rate, hate companies that print shipping labels but don't actually get the packages out in 24 hours.

I would contact them right away. It is possible that it has shipped already, just not updated.

Clay at NET.com sells extract too. I've entertained that option but I'm not certain what their future will be either. True, their product wont technically have nicotine in it but they very well could be swept up in a vape ban at some point too. I am also holding out some hope that there might be some NET vendors who also offer bulk one shots (especially my own). Again, how viable will this be as a profitable business model to cater one shots to the DIY market?? And will they be subject to FDA regs?? I'm guessing it will be fraught with risk and un-doable for many. I feel a whole lot better making my own because pipe n cigar tobacco is more likely to be available on a long term basis. No guarantees, of course. But it seems the push is mostly targeted at vaping.

I'm still thinking the best outcome is my current NET vendor offering to sell bulk extract at a reasonable cost...at stockpiling rates (I'm assuming they can be frozen for long periods of time). Perhaps even better would be divulging the recipe but not sure I could replicate it. But I do like the attractiveness of vertically integrating to be as independent as I can be to remove as much risk as I can. Making my own NETs goes toward that objective.

I appreciate the heads up with Stixx Mixx. It certainly remains as an option. Funny, I just watched a video today from DYI or Die and he was opening a package from Stixx Mixx. They sent him a box load of their NETs to review. I think it was a little older vid.

Ok that makes me feel a bit better then, I will wait till Friday and if nothing, then will email them ;)

Also found out I have enough points for a $10 off at ejuices.com, so if like the mini, will go back and order the solo, just may be a month before back home to get it, but for $26, it's a no brainer.
