Home after a long day. Cleaned / wicked a couple of Galaxies for some Butterscotch Candy and Autumn Evening.
The Butterscotch Candy tastes more like toffee to me. Maybe the 10% Butterscotch (FW) was little much, although I thought the 2% Sweet Cream (TFA) and 2% DX Bavarian Cream (TFA) would smooth it out a little. Maybe next trial I should drop the Butterscotch to 6%....
Even after two years of storage, the Cornell & Diehl Autumn Evening is still delightful. Aromatic blends usually fade after 6 to 12 months, but the Maple and Vanilla casing, with an undertone of Liquor, still shows up to blend with the Red Virginia Cavendish. I can't wait to reorder and extract this flavor again.
