We’re physically almost on the Gulf of Mexico, so summer afternoons almost always include a rain shower. That and humidity is higher than should be legal. I’ve tried a bunch of varieties of melons and pumpkins without success. Even lifted up on something, they get rot. Very frustrating. I’d love to be able to grow melons!
    Too hot ?

I got my Bourbon Bitters mixed and the 30ml of Raspberry Yogurt. Now I am done. Tomorrow I need to take some kind of a look at all I have already mixed.

Between the 8 contest mixes and my own mixes I’ve gone through a bit of base mix.

Whenever you mention your STD application, @stols001, I wonder which one you're trying to get.

I'd go for syphilis, myself. According to a chapter in The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a hat, if you let it progress to exactly the right point, you feel all happy and rejuvenated.

I would love some advice on my Blue Pom Plum King. Yesterday, I decided it needed sweetener and a vanilla, so I added it. Today, the flavor is too weak. My flavoring percentage is 15.25% now, so I must have used too much flavoring. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Should I make a small batch with reduced flavorings and combine it with what I have now? I would love to make this work because it was nice and tart before I added the vanilla and sweetener.

As @Zazie suggested its way over flavored. Only solution is to dilute it with base. I would add some of your mix measuring out the amount. to a small bottle. Maybe start with a 10 ml bottle and add 5ml of your mix and 5ml of base. That will give you a starting point of what ratio to use before trying to fix entire bottle. Good luck.

Eta opps. I was too late. Posted before i saw the other posts.

I tried the Greek Yogurt that Bronze recommended and it’s ok but I like the FW Yogurt best. Thanks Sugar :)
YW. I am just glad i could help you find another flavor you like.

On another note-- i am atill trying to work through all the flavors i already mixed. I made such large batches and found out quickly about over flavored recipes. Nothing can replace the steeping process. Cant hurry a good thing even tho we all try to. But learned my lesson and largest bottle i mix now is 60 ml. I am seeing the light at the end of that long tunnel. Finally. Lol

I know STD always sounds so awful. You know, my STD record is totally spotless actually. This makes this little "HIV generation" girl awfully happy.

I think I'd try for like, chlamydia if I had to achieve anything, I mean it's asymptomatic unless it makes you sterile so I call it "the poverty stricken teen's birth control method." In some cases, when dealing with a teen mom pregnant though, I wish it worked faster. I sort of want to shake them and yell, "HOW FAR YOU GONNA GET IN LIFE WITH NOW two children, no baby daddy in sight, and well, no GED or NOTHING."

I do most mixes in 15ml .My cheesecakes and other select mixes get 30ml. My 2 long time ADV’s get 60 and 120 ml.
I made such huge batches due to the fact of always traveling--well before the virus lockdown that is. It just cut way down on mixing and steeping time. But i am now almost ready to discover other flavors i may like. Soon.

Would like to get back to KS but since i am high risk i thought it more prudent to wait and see the numbers from the re- opening of most states.
    :)
