    Somewhere between here and there
I played a game on the PlayStation for the first time in a few months over the weekend. It's god of war 3 remastered. I started COD WW2 a long time ago but had difficulty getting used to using the controls on the ps4 and stopped. I haven't had the ps4 that long and hadn't had a new system in a long time. I don't have the patience to play for a long time in one sitting.

I really don't know how folks can spend all there time playing games on the computer.

Good morning mixologists. The husband is getting ready to leave. Of course, this coming week is having some kind of record heat wave. He has that look, that "I am heading into hell" look. This may also mean *I* get to bring little dog with me tp Tucson later. I really don't desire that OH he gets irritable in the car but it's kind of... .kinder. Nope looks like the husband is just gonna cage him inside some of the time. Cool.

I am barely awake and not sure what I am going to do yet today. I am also tired.

I did not find a community dumpster. I did find that the sanitation company will doo a special "scheduled giant pickup" if asked. For 15 dollars. Man, I read the website and the things the husband was saying about the sanitation company in Douglas are true: they are one step down from the gestapo. I'm kind of shocked I did not get my trash can confiscated before the husband came down and informed me of the rules. I had no clue you could have that may rules about trash, etc.

Still no news, I think I know it's totally normal, they have to finish stuff up, but I'd still just like the uncertainty to be over.

Make that one shot work @hittman . Although I'm still never gonma even TRY to improve it it's one of my favorite vapes. Etc.

It would be awesome and all jobs seem to have that hurry up and wait syndrome (in my experience) as they finish up dribs and drabs and etc. Oy. It would be relieving. Almost OJ time. If no check comes today I am gonna HAVE to go to Walmart we are running out of food (it was on purpose) and it is gonna suck. I don't want to buy ANYTHING at all.

Oh well... Just another day. I hope my recruiter calls with a YAY and then gives me 6 weeks. We could totally get this done in 6 weeks, .it would be a horrible six weeks but we could DO it. Meh.

I feel like "Waiting for Godot-- the check. Most of the stuff left in the garage is under a sea of tools. This is gonna be so much fun. Yay.

    Okay OJ here I came.

OJ did not ruin orange juice for me.

Oh cool, got an email from the credenitalers letting me know my current work is done. I have given them plenty of other references, one of whom I just emailed yesterday. He's like, super reliable. So, that should all be good. Yay..

I always hated most video games. That was true for many chicks in particular in my generation. I hear that is not the case so much anymore and all the little girls are like, playing them.

Video game addiction is real. Like I can talk.

If you have to ask you will never understand :)
I used to play quite a bit, but not near as much as my friends. But if I would get a game that I really enjoyed like Hitman or Splinter Cell, I could spend a whole weekend afternoon playing and not even realize it. I think they can be great for releasing stress plus it can be more mentally stimulating than watching TV.

Yeah it had our dog a nervous wreck. He's a German Shepherd and like most of them he has a sensitive stomach, so any time he gets nervous we usually have issues. He wanted to stay in our bedroom last night so we moved his bed into our room. At about 3 am I heard what sounded like a gush of flooding liquid hitting the bedroom floor, and I knew what it was. It was him expelling his bowels in a violent way. My wife luckily heard it too, "Frrrrruuuuuuuuuuuckkk" I heard her say, he was on her side of the room.

She doesn't know it but I may tell her around Christmas time that I heard it all too... I just pretended to sleep through it.
    Poor puppy.

I was thinking just a touch of River Supply Cola Freeze would help bring out some of the pop flavor more

can't find my diyfs licorice, found my tfa red licorice

i'm thinking licorice would help, not too sure about red licorice though...
Since red licorice is fake cherry, I can't imagine it would.

    try to stay cool, bark.
It is the "dog" days of summer after all ;)
Hydration is key for me, it's just very uncomfortable sweating buckets.
I actually got a free pass today from the wife to relax and do nothing when I get home, especially after all I did during our "vacation" and since we've been back, but.. relaxing isn't going to get our garden done and it isn't going to be cooler any time soon. In the past I would have been all over that free pass or even just said outright I'm not doing anything, but that's not me anymore. A man has got to know his limitations, however.. so I know where to draw the line and it's usually at about 5PM or so. No need to drive myself into the ground, but important tasks won't get done unless you do them. I am a master procrastinator for less important tasks, high priority or bust.

After my garden work, it's more mixing time :) which is relaxing, and then some bonafide relaxing afterword. I am also an expert at being a couch potato, when the time is right.

Fantastic! Thanks a lot. I don't think I would have ever found the blogs on my own.
Alternatively, you can click on the "B" next to my name in any message of mine.

ETA: As I see Fran just said.

I guess you have all that worked out good right down to the couch potato time. Enjoy your endeavors and I hope your gardens grow well.

Last night I downloaded NMS. First new game I've had since Skyrim. Haven't even played a game for several years. I got sucked into modding with Elder Scrolls. I had huge palatial mansions and a troop of assorted followers who did the fighting for me. Kind of gave up on actually playing the game.

I wandered around NMS for 20 minutes until I was close to dying. I need to check out some guides, any recommendations?

Yes I did the same at first, and then looked up NMS on YouTube. Tons of videos including ones on how to get the best start. Happy travels!
