That's nasty--especially now, in the middle of this pandemic. My insurance co. always gives a grace period--even if you lapse. Can't you ask to talk to a supervisor or somebody higher up?
Talked to several. No dice, won't budge.

I had a bummer of a day. Got a notice that my auto insurance was canceled because my auto pay didn't go through. Due to mail slowness, I didn't receive the notice until today which was 3 days too late to reinstate the policy.Called the company and everything, no dice..they won't reinstate it.

    Insurance companies are such shysters...

So sorry to hear that. Shadav. I had no idea. It must be excruciatingly difficult. Hang in there!

I wish things were easier for you, Shad :(

    thank you :)
    things are kind of better

I had applied for the covid unemployment, because well I mean, it's not my fault why I can't work, and my job doesn't offer to work from home...and I still got bills to pay and kids to feed.....which apparently ticked off my job so they fired me but they told unemployment that I quit...finally 4 months later unemployment sided with me...at first I got 2 checks then nothing....so I fought it and unemployment said that I owed them the money back...well *pft* that was already spent on my bills.....then a month later unemployment turned around and basically said oops our bad...I mean it's not enough to pay my bills but it's better than nothing...
then my van decided to be a pita and break down...needed a new alternator, thankful a friend paid to have it fixed because, um no, I don't got $750, everything right now is going towards the bills....
but I mean, things are ok at the moment, as long as nothing else happens :p *knocks on wood* I'll be ok for a bit longer...but really really need to get back to work, you'd think finding a work from home job during all of this would be a bit easier....but with my van fixed now, I will probably do some uber/lyft driving for a bit (just gotta get myself motivated to leave my house, which is becoming more and more difficult)
and thankfully my food stamps ap was finally approved

so it's slowly getting a bit better....my daughter was supposed to start college but now I'm not sure if they will accept her or if she'll have to wait until next year...haven't heard anything back on it...she was accepted into Ivy Tech but we never heard anything more after that

it sucks but if you explain to another insurance company what happened and you can blame it on covid ;) they probably won't ding you or whatever as being without insurance....

They aren't going to reinstate no matter what. The best I could do is go with Progressive, pay the same amount but get basic coverage instead of full coverage like I had. Plus a twice higher deductible.

I have a couple like that. They were my first cases. I got tired of digging through 10-20 bottles to find one flavor when mixing.

When I first started DIY, almost 5 years ago, I used a paint marker and numbered the cap of each flavoring as I got it. Started putting them in the sections of my cases in number order. No need to reorganize or anything then, when adding new ones as my flavoring stash has grown to 342. I also put the flavoring # beside the flavoring name on my recipe cards. When I'm ready to make a recipe...just grab the card and pull the right numbers. Easy to put them back again, too, where they were. :)
