Just lovely...I spend all this money and my drier just quit working. It’s not old either.
I had one go out once. My son went on that site re repairs and found out it was a simple fix which he did for less than 10 bucks. I can't remember the name of it atm, maybe someone here will know or on the ecf how to fix stuff thread.

They are checking on whether there is an alternative. I suspect not since they require a witness and notary to be separate.
My mother just went through that (doing a trust) She got a "mobile notary" that came to the house and just some friends come as witnesses. Don't know anything about this myself but it went well and everyone wore masks.

Go to RepairClinic.com. I've used their site several times to diagnose what's been wrong with my side-by-side refrigerator freezer, my Mom's refrigerator, the washing machine, etc. Figured out which part(s) each thing needed, bought them at a local parts place, and repaired the stuff myself. You can also order the parts from them in most cases.

ETA: You may have already done this, but did you check to see if a breaker was tripped in your breaker box?

I put the reflexes that need updating in the drawer. I just can’t get along with it as is. Hoping the updated one is a little airier, smoother. I think you’ll like the sceptre. Even on the installed 1.2 coil /af set to dl it’s plenty of vapor. Looking forward to trying the 0.5.

How many reflexes did you get? If you can’t find a pc to use, you can send them to me to update.

That sounds about like my luck. Replaced the furnace and Ac then paid for the daughters apartment and books thinking that the spending would slow down and I ordered some stuff. Soon as I did she gets a 230 dollar speeding ticket.

Woops! I am not used to having so many tanks going at once (2 MTL/ 12mg), RDL/ 6mg), RTA/ 9mg and DL/ 3mg. Got in a hurry and put 9 mg juice in my full blown DL tank. Noticed just in time and grabbed my blunt needle syringe and pulled back out... refilled with correct 3 mg juice. I'm not going to keep using the DL tank (it came with a mod I wanted) but just for kicks, trying the two drop-in coils that came with it. After that, I have a RBA that works with it (and building for restricted DL)

Yeah breaker was fine and first thing I checked. I think it’s the thermal fuse or high temp thermostat. The only thing is my laundry room is the width of the w/d with a few inches to spare so it’s a tight space. You have to take the door off the hinges to even get them in there. It’s a GE and it’s all done from the front per YouTube. Belts and screws and literally removing the drum. Not from the back like easier models.

I have never cussed so much in my life when I tried to replace the dryer vent last year. After literally climbing on the washer to get back there like a gymnast on a pole vault, the dang thing would NOT go around my wall vent outlet. 4” on 4”...would not go on. They need to make them a smidge bigger to fit. I had to clean my old one and put it back on.

This is not an expensive fix, but it’s not that easy. And you are blind feeling to put the belt back on. Not gonna be fun. I think I’ll call a repairman but they are hard to find.

That would frustrate me to no end, I would buy a new one.

Maybe I have zero patience today. Apparently, my house closed and nobody thought it might be a good idea to inform me. No phone call, msg, email....nothing.

Yes, it is Budd, best think about preventing it from reoccurring?
It was a crazy story (happened at 5000 ft elevation just 2 miles from our house)
There were many dead trees (bark beetles) so they were cutting them down (ironically to prevent out of control fires) The crew dropped one on a power line and set the whole forest on fire! It almost destroyed two very special historical (and still operating) places. All of the locals were very upset with those idiot tree cutters  So how do we prevent that from reoccurring? Sorry... still very upset about the whole experience (couldn't come home for a week... stayed in motels and didn't have much money... two weeks pay gone... OK, some of that was wasted at the bar for stress relief)

I’ve fixed a lot of things in my life, but I don’t think this is going to be one of them. Dad is going to look at it, and he’s the smartest man I know, but this isn’t going to be good. I’m like you, I’m about ready to head to Lowe’s.
