That reminds me...do the bottles from heartland come in a box with separations between them? I always use the box amazon sends the bottles in to store my nic.

I got my bottles from Amazon and there were no separations. Each bottle was wrapped in styrofoam. However I bought the 32 oz bottles so I could put the entire liter in one bottle. It just barely fits as a liter is like 33.4 oz. Saves room in my tiny freezer though.

Well I contacted River Supply and showed them the pictures I posted earlier of my nicotine. They already shipped out two new liters to me as replacement.

Since your nic base doesn't look nearly as dark as what Koolkiz received, IMO...I'd keep it, instead of using it for insecticide. You could mark it "last nic base to use" when putting in your freezer, if you want to vape clearer stuff you'll get...first. Once in the freezer it shouldn't get any darker. Maybe pass some of it along to others in need if/when the time comes. I'm sure that to those who won't have any...it would gladly be used...especially since it was "free" to you in the longrun.

ETA: A good friend (another ECF member) has been using her older nic base that looks like that...for the last 2-3 years, since she started doing DIY again. She says it's still fine and has no funky taste nor odor.

I think you took my question the wrong way. I am really curious about that recipe. Is it a sweet bourbon? Please repost it. You spent a lot of time on it and I’d like to try it. :)
Google castle long reserve - a very nice sounding eliquid, [emoji106]

@Skeebo - please do share what you think it's like after some steeping

    Post deleted, sorry guys.

That looked like a good version, I didn't think anything was wrong with posting it. :?: I was just commenting about, my personal experiences with the ones I have tried. I would like to see your final recipe, if you perfect it. :|

I wasn't planning on throwing it out. I was going to do like you mentioned, keep it for now and if it can be used down the road.

Ooof tired, overworked (At THIS orientation, and I have worked a TON of jobs I finally put it all together) 2 days of all non stop orientation I have a theory. All orientations suck. They do it on purpose. They do to MAKE the job seem better and you will be grateful for having it.

I want to say it is their first time doing it remotely due to some of the presenters. This one dude was like.... "Can you hear me okay.... Oh can you hear me? Oh, I must be cutting out from the mail being delivered. I'm at home working remotely." He was our most incoherent protester. BY FAR. Like, he is also the person to go to if we are gonna get fired. He told this long (incoherent) story about how some SW left after a short period of time but never consulted the guy. We all agreed afterward, the last thing we would ever do even if facing a REAL firing squad, not just a squad out to fire you, would be to consult him.

So they use the stretch time and add boredom machines, and like let you leave 10 minutes early and then you are like, "OMG, I am going to be such a worker bee now!"

It's the only explanation and with that, bed.

    Nite hope all is well.

In the freezer, no light, not being opened, it should be very stable for a long time.

No matter what, I'd probably make a small test batch of an eliquid, determine if I believed it was "decent", usable. If it had a really off scent (peppery is normal), I'd dispose it.

Personally, if i had enough clear nic for my use, I'd likely break it down into some smaller bottles, store it in a freezer, and use it to PIF to people who get caught in a bind. But that's just me.

If it was part of my core supply, I'd still break it down, most in the freezer, try a small bottle as my in-use mixing nic.

I was kind of debating if I should try to use it now before it gets worse. Is that your reasoning?
Yes, since it has a bit of oxidation, I would use that first. OTOH, I have nic that is 10 years old and never in the freezer lol. It is oxidized and stronger and darker than new stuff but it is fine. Of course, I only vape at 3mg, it might be nasty tasting at higher mg. I think 10 years ago we didn't even know to be it in the freezer and later, I forgot about it. It was in ac, dark closet all that time and hence, why I forgot about it. Even when moving, it was boxed up and it stayed there.

I vape generally around 9mg, but only at a 10-12 wattage.
