Just a few weeks ago there was a lot of talk about how quiet ECF was getting and would it just fade away. Now it's super busy and I gave up trying to keep up with the handful of threads I follow. I've been busy, plus nothing much happens in my vape life these days. I live vicariously through you guys.

I haven't had any desire to buy anything new for a long time. But today I decided to get a couple of new decks for the BB. There should be time for it to get through customs before the Deeming date,

I just got one wall of my house redone with cement siding. Most of the rest is cedar. I put new cedar siding on half the house 3 or 4 years back but that's hard work and I'm getting old. The wall I just had done faces south and it takes a beating, the cedar was falling apart. I had one short wall done with cement 15 years ago right after I moved in and it still looks like it was done yesterday. That stuff lasts forever. They primed it but didn't paint it so now the new wall needs painting. Wife decided she wants new colors. Mustard yellow walls with teal trim, you'll be able to see it glowing from space. I'll get as much of the house painted as I can before the winter. Also have to clean and stain the deck. It's going to be a busy few weeks coming up.
I have a huge list of things I need to do to my house. It never ends as a home owner. I need an entirely new deck but I'm going to hold off for now. Next up for me is having three trees removed and cutting limbs of others hanging too low. But they are not big and will not require anyone to climb them. I am holding off until after Christmas.

Thanks for letting me know about the noise situation. While I likely will end up with a different freezer, I am glad to hear that noise has not been an issue. The ones I am strongly considering are...

and

In regards to placing a pan down, have you experienced leaking from the freezer, or is that more of a precaution? I was planning on placing a mat down between the bedroom floor and the freezer.

I have mine sitting on a small table and it never leaked. Unless you get an auto defrost model I guess there would be a problem if power goes out and the ice buildup thaws.

Thanks, but do I really need to have it on a pan at all times? Can I just put a pan under it when I defrost it? Now, I want to point out that I have no idea what goes into defrosting a freezer. So those questions might have been very stupid.

Mine came with a plastic scraper. Just take all the nic out and leave it turned off with the door open for 15 mins. Then you should be able to pop the ice off with the scraper. A little bit messy but a towel by the door will catch any bits that gets away from you. What you don't want to do is leave it to sit long enough for all the ice inside to melt, scrape it off while it's still solid. The amount of time the nic is out in my experience isn't even long enough for the frost on the bottles to melt off. I do it maybe once every 3 months. Ice would build up faster in a freezer that you were getting into every day but I get into mine no more than once every couple of months when I mix base. There isn't going to be much air exchange with the door shut.

    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning. It's my Friday and I'm looking forward to my four day weekend. I was planning on fixing my dryer but since that's not happening I'm just going to do yard work, put up vape gear, and deep clean the house.

I have a question. Do the bottles from Heartland come in a box with separations between the bottles? How do they ship them? They are only $2 less expensive at Heartland, but from amazon they come in a nice box with those cardboard separators between the bottles that I use to store in the freezer.

Mine just came with the bottles shrink wrapped together and a bunch of bubble wrap in the box.

    @hittman You have a pm.

    So do you.

That is one of the brands I had previously considered for my 1.1 cu ft freezer. They seem well reviewed.

I've had it over a year now and there's a tiny bit of frost build up on the top. I got the bigger one so I could store my nic on the shelves and snus in the basket on the bottom.

The bubble wrap alone makes the purchase worth it.

Question: Do you guys label your bottles of nic when storing them in the freezer?

I didn't at first but regret it now. The last few orders I have labeled the bottles with the date. I don't put anything else on them since I only order vg nic.
I thought you might label the brand name too. By date: do you mean the date the nicotine was made, or the date you bottled it?

I put the brand, the date received, and 100 mg/ml (I have some older nic that is 50 and 60 so I wanted to distinguish them apart). I didn't do this on the bottle but I did write a note on the outside of the box that it is poison or even skull and cross bones or something to caution them. I also told my Mom and son what it is so they'll know if something were to happen to me.

Good call on the poison warning. That makes a lot of sense for safety purposes.

That reminds me, I need to get myself some labels. I've just been using masking tape as labels for my juice bottles.

The ones with the bubble wrap I have in a plastic storage bin with a lid. The others I put in the box the bottles came in with the cardboard separators.

No vape mail for me today, but I did get a new toy. I got my Lifefuels water bottle. It's a water bottle that you can insert three flavor pods that squirt measured amounts of flavor into the water and it tracks your water consumption on an app. I've had it for 1/2 day and I've drank 3/4 my day's quota of water. Obviously I won't get the full amount in today.

I picked up my car after spending $500 getting the oil pan repaired. I was told that I had a transmission solenoid out, but that shop didn't work on transmissions. I took the car to a transmission shop. They said they could do it in about a month, but it would be better if I took it to a local shop that specifically works on German cars. I took it to that shop and now have an appointment for two weeks from now, with an estimate of $1000-$1500. He has to pull the transmission out and he goes ahead and replaces all the solenoids so he doesn't have to do it again later. Anybody want to loan me $500? I spent too much on vape gear, but even if I hadn't I'd probably be short. I hope my brother can help me if it's too high.

dang it man...ft just emailed, they don't have any dyadics left....issuing me a refund...
now to find another dual squonker...
I'm trying to use the capo 216 but meh...it's got the same issues as the capo squonker....so this will not be an all day vaping device for me...
even at 12.5w on soft power mode, it's still too hot....now tell me how on every other device I use my profiles on i'm at 20w and it's fine...but on this thing 12.5w is too hot....something's just not right with the capo series....

That looks nice and organized. I do like the bubble wrap idea.
I kept those bubble wrap things for years knowing they were perfect for the nic. They are actual bags that I put the nic into. Not sure where they came from (maybe a bottle purchase? or vape purchases?).
