Fall season is upon us, and "playoff" beard mode is already in process (since we set our first fall net) My wife doesn't understand it or the comraderie that goes along with it.. but she's not a sports fan in the slightest.

WF is one of my favorite brands. I haven't tried most of the ones I got from the new flavor pack but plan on it. It just seems like there's never enough time. The ones I was missing for the recipe were strawberry cheesecake, fresh strawberry, and strawberry juicy. I tried subbing with a cheesecake and some strawberry that I had on hand but it didn't come out good. I'm hoping for better results with the correct flavors.

The first couple times I bottled, I boiled the bottles but after that I just rinsed them in the hottest tap water I could get. I just rinsed the caps too.
I might have to try some out for my next order. Are there any ones you would recommend as favorites?

Morning, mixers :)

One day I may just attempt to see if I can vape on it without batteries just having it plugged in

Uh, check the manual first. Not all mods will work as pass thru, and if not, damage to the mod or computer may follow...

Work, workout, and clean. Fun stuff. How about you @FranC?

Btw: Also, if I have time, I plan to clean the amber bottles and caps I purchased from Heartland. I've heard boiling is a good way to clean the bottles, but not sure if the best way to clean the caps.

I'm also in the just hot water clean. Nic will take care of any bacteria.

Hmm, plans...

Good catch - trying to vape on a computer-connected mod is really not advisable, due to the low amps available on a typical computer USB interface.

Back years ago there were multiple "whoops" stories when people tried vaping 510 passthroughs. Even then, with high ohm (low power draw) cartomizers, using a dedicated wall wart power supply was important.

Some, not all varieties, and some virii.

Nicotine: the good news | News24

Tobacco SMOKE, not so much!
Well, I doubt the bottles would have much if any bacteria on them, since they are brand new. But it was recommended to me to wash out new bottles anyways. I guess when in doubt, wash it out.

My son says FL is biking unfriendly because of a lack of bike trails and because people drive like nuts.
My niece says FL is too conservative and that I wouldn't like it.

I've lived in FL for more than 65 years. I lived near St. Petersburg (in 2 beach towns) for 5 years. Have lived in the center of central FL (about 1/2 way between Tampa & Orlando) for 60 years. Went to college in Pensacola for 2 years. I've loved all of those areas of Florida.

The state and counties have built hiking, walking, and biking trails in many parts of Florida. They're favorite places for many people. We also have quite a few state and county parks to ride in. My nephew's a long distance biker and never has a problem finding roadways and trails that are safe places to ride. My neighbors rent out a house to winter visitors who are bike enthusiasts, and have been coming down from NY for the past 4 years. They've never had even a scare even while riding along roadways anywhere in a 50 miles radius of here. Most bike/auto crashes you read about are in congested areas of major cities.

As far as FL being too conservative in general...I disagree. I'm sure it varies quite a bit from area to area though, like in any other state.

ETA: Forgot what your son mentioned about people driving like nuts. Those are usually people in the major cities (think Tampa, Orlando, Miami), or on the interstates. Then there's the northern winter visitors who come down every fall-early spring...who drive like the road belongs to them and only them. They're definitely not the speedy drivers though.

Like I said, I have a bunch untried but the ones that come to mind are caramel butter, boysenberry raspberry, croissant, cannoli shell, crispy wafer, flapper pie, vanilla ruyan custard, and of course mascarpone cream cheese. I'm hoping for some new winners in the new ones I got.

I would add Aged Bourbon Cream, Chocolate Chunks, Cranberry Coctail, Hazelnut and Cream, Roasted Pecans and Cream, Shortbread Cookies, Snake Fruit, and White Chocolate(Milky Cream).

Question for those who use "Stick" style internal battery products . . . What is the average lifetime ? How long should they last, with normal everyday use ? Are there any tell tail signs when they are about to go / die ?

Like the old egos, spinners and such? I still have some. They still work.

Well, I am going to have to at least buy Flapper Pie. If only because of the funny name.

Yes - I have a couple I still use occasionally that are starting to act-up . . . Fully charged - Press Button for a second or two "Green" light comes on - start to take a "drag" and then all of a sudden starts flashing "Red" . . .

That means it is no longer holding a charge. Time to chuck 'em.

I haven't used mine in years but I do check them from time to time.
