Today we went to the Mayberry Cafe. It's in a small town in Indiana. Had to do take out because they don't have outdoor seating. Good old fashioned food. They have the police car that Barney Fife drove on the show parked outside and they sell all sorts of Mayberry stuff. Apparently Barney was somewhat involved. He used to show up regularly and they have photos on the wall of him eating there. You can buy complete sets of the show on CD. Pretty good food, just had to throw it in the microwave when we got home. It's nice to get out even if it's not like it used to be.
    Yes, it is :)

    Anything new?
I made @Skeebo 's Castle Long Reserve (vaping it now and love it with no steeping...ain't nobody got time for that!) and I made the Lemon Wafer I think @hittman posted. I haven't tried it yet. Although I did give both of them a hot bath and shook the ever living daylights out of them. :) More recipes soon.

Good!! I'm looking for some kind of general ideas for recipes. There's been nothing to inspire me lately.

I don't know if you saw my comment on the lemon wafer recipe but I would suggest adding some FE lemon or whatever your favorite is. The lemon flavor was pretty weak in it.

Just received 4 new Sony VTC5A,18650,2600 mah, 25 amp batteries. Nothing exciting, but needed. Charging them right now.
Yes indeed. Batteries aren't very exciting but they are the backbone of many mods.

I have a pile of recipes printed out, but wanted to try some of the new flavors. It’s either going to be good or awful lol. VTA blood plum with WF: crumble topping, Portuguese egg tart and ABC. Definitely steeping it for a month

Glad it's vapeable for you. Play with the recipe next time you make some... pick one of the flavors and increase its percentage. If you like more coconut, or bourbon, etc.. I doubled the vanilla bourbon in my last batch and it turned out nicely.

The plum might be ok, but, uh, no, NOT with egg tart! (What the heck IS egg tart? Egg with tartar sauce??)
I never found a plum I really liked so I quit trying. Not that important to me. But egg tart???? Just NO.

didn't know that was there, but then I don't get out to danville often (maybe twice in my life :p and once was because I was ubering someone home) but I'll have to keep that in mind  but not gonna drive an hour + out of my way

I never tried Castle Long Reserve but I did try The Gentleman's Reserve and it was pretty tasty, I don't think there was any tobacco flavor in it though....

I might have to try a go at it and see...

Depending on where you are in the US, I *think* it’s like a custard, buttermilk or chess pie (not the lemon variety).... basically custard baked in a pie shell or puff pastry, filo dough.

Castle Long does not have any tobacco in it. It's foundation is more of a bourbon flavor, but it's not overpowering and blends with the other ingredients well. I have vaped Gentlemen's Reserve a lot in the past... It's very similar but the toasted almond flavor is a tad stronger in it.
