Citrus bears heavy one year, light the next usually. But, a light year, we still get 40+ dozen fruit at a minimum off each tree. Thank heavens we only have 11!I've got a persimmon tree, it's five years old now and this year it has about 20 fruits. I expect to wait a few more years to get a good harvest. In London I had a greengage tree. They are a bit fussy. About every third year it produced a huge harvest, Other years it was just a few or none. I love greengages but never seen them for sale over here. I checked the charts and you can't grow them in Indiana, too hot in summer and too cold in the winter.
