I've always shaken it before opening and decanting. Any air from initial bottling has probably already done it's thing. Nice to hear Heartland agrees with me, since it's usually their nic!

Leos rule :)

Fire signs for the win! I’m an Aries.
I get along with Virgos well though . 39 years with my Virgo hubby is proof. Or, proof of his patience.

I’m not sure that Scorpio’s get along with anyone......LOL
My wife is a Scorpio (never mess with a scorpion... you will get the death sting) Actually our relationship was always "opposites attract" but that works for us. She is currently evacuated because of the fires here in CA (but safe at a friends house) It's been one heck of a year in CA.

This hurricane truly sucks, it's moving 2mph and it's rained like 20 inches so far. Ruined my birthday plans for tomorrow, thanks Sally.

Hope everyone else is doing well [emoji846]
I’m sorry. Y’all are getting hammered. They’ve been showing shots from the Panhandle all day here. A slow moving weak ts/hurricane is often more damaging than a fast moving 2 or 3.
I think you win the prize just for having a pandemic+hurricane birthday :(. I vote for you celebrating your 1/2 birthday in six months instead. At least hurricane season will be over then!

Kind of glad I no longer live on an island in the Panhandle.

I have a question for all of you esteemed DIYers. In the next couple of days, I will be bottling up all my nic. Is it recommended that I shake my liters of nic up before pouring them into the glass bottles? I seem to remember seeing that advice on here before, but can't remember for sure.

I would shake them a little. When you nic is fresh and after several days in transit, hot spots should not be a problem. However, after months or years in storage, you really need to shake a lot.

Everyone knows Sag is the best sign!
My dad was a Sag... I have to agree... everyone liked him ;) Every once in a while, his birthday was on Thanksgiving (I always thought that was cool)
Had a friend who was a Libra (the scales... balanced) I would get my impulsive Leo ideas and he would play along but in the end he would convince me it wasn't a good idea (he kept me out of a lot of trouble)

After $3.30, almost three weeks waiting for the part, and about 10-12 hours of research, demo, and putting it back together...my dryer is fixed.

I look like I’ve been in a fight with bloody scratches everywhere. I have two spare screws and I know where they go but at that point I would have had to take it apart again. Not important screws. But it works!

I am an Aquarius and I fit the bill for one. The description is exactly me. My birthday is incorrect on here...when I came back last year they let me keep my old name but the bday got screwed up somehow and was not fixable. I think bdays are just another day and I despise attention so I try to get through the day as fast as possible.

    I need a bath!

That makes sense... I'll keep that in mind.

Julia Su was talking about it on FB and how it’s a good base to add different fruits and things to. I’m going to try it as written before adding anything.
I like some others of hers. So, I think this looks like a winner. Probably why I ordered cookie butter in the first place lol

There are two schools of thought: shake to even out hot spots; don't shake because it promotes oxidization. I guess the upshot is, do what you want. Me, I shook.

I'm with you. I shake. But there are people who use mechanical stirrers--I wouldn't do that. I don't think that shaking a sealed bottle introduces much (if any) oxygen.
