Good morning mixers, thank God it's Friday.

I'll take Absolut, thank you

Me too!!! I use to love Vodka, Absolut being my favorite.... then again I could drink them all really. There was a local distillery in St. Petersberg Florida that had their own too that I enjoyed a lot.

Wifey and I plan to go to the brewery today at beer-thirty.

OK I'm still much liking the gen nano kit. When I first filled the GTX 22 tank I noticed the air flow was wide open. I just left it there cause I like airy vapes even though I'm more MTL. More recently I finally played with the airflow a bit and discovered I like it just slightly open better. Still has plenty of air and I think slightly better taste. I tried closing the air off and that was too restricted for me. Settled on the .6 as my fav, coil.

I am glad you like it. I know I love my regular Gen.

I was much amazed when I first took it out of the box. The mod itself is feather-light and I remember wondering how it could be so light with an internal battery. I still don't know but I don't have to charge it often.

I can have it or leave it. I enjoy a single drink once in a great while.

I used to enjoy 12 or so on a worknight and a case of beer a day on days off. Hence, liver transplant and I quit drinking. Very difficult but saved my life - I was and am a stone alcoholic who drinks to get hammered. I admire people who can just have a drink and be done with it.

Yeah, I had a couple years of heavy drinking long ago but I've never been an alcoholic. I just walked away.

@FranC , I did get my Sourcemore order yesterday. I blamed you earlier for tempting me to order the Kroma R mods. I'm still blaming you, but this time I'm adding a thanks. What a great little mod. I got one bronze and one stainless steel, both with 4ml zlide tanks. Really sharp looking setups.

I think the delivery worked out well until USPS got involved, or, more accurately, didn't get involved. They never added tracking for the package until it was out for delivery. Not a major problem after the fact, but it did have me wondering what was going on for a few days while the package sat unmoving in Atlanta (Forest Park).

Anyway, got the tanks cleaned and ready to go. I'll fire up the mods to be sure they're OK, then put one back for a while and put the other in rotation. Or, maybe I'll just keep both out for daily use. I'm wild and crazy that way. :headbang:

I never really consumed alcohol (had a few drinks in my lifetime) ended up with autoimmune liver disease. It sucks for real since its a rare disease. Stage 2 cirrhosis and stage 3 fibrosis. The drugs used for autoimmune are a life saver but causes it own host of effects. I'm sure you have to take meds post liver transplant. Congrats on quitting.

I respect you a lot for sharing. While I never had a problem with alcohol (stomach makes sure of it) I did have issues with the big C when I was 18-19 years old. I think everyone in my neighborhood in Miami did.. Our area was so bad we made the New York Times and Time magazine fairly often in 1987.

I never mix some kind of base first.

Different mixes have different amounts of flavoring.
Do your nic first, based on what you want the final mg/ml to be, and how many total ml you want.

    I use 100 mg/ml nic base, and vape at 2 mg/ml.

    The math works as:
    (Desired mg/ml) / (nic mg/ml) = % of nic

    For me:
    (2 mg/ml) / (100 mg/ml) = 1/50 = 0.02 = 2%

For any given final amount of eliquid, amount x 0.02 = nic needed

    30 ml? 30 x 0.02 = 0.6 ml of the 100 mg/ml
    50 ml? 50 x 0.02 = 1.0 ml of the 100 mg/ml

Next, add the flavors. They're normally spec'd as % to use.

Same concept as for nic - final amount x % = amount of a given flavor.

Add up all the ml of nic and flavors, say it came to 4.5 ml in a 30ml mix.

30 - 4.5 = 25.5 ml = how much plain pg and vg "filler" to add.

If you want max vg (are sensitive to PG), make that filler all vg.

If you aren't sensitive to pg, a lot of tanks do nicely with about equal amounts of pg and vg in the eliquid.

Since pg is okay for me, and since:
    1. my nicotine base is pg (easier for me to work with)
    2. My flavorings are either pg or alcohol base (okay to think of as if they are pg)

I just add 50% vg and 50% - (ml of nic and flavorings) worth of pg.:

    Vg: 30 ml: 30 x 0.5 = 15ml of vg
    PG: 30 x 0.5 - 4.5ml (nic & flavorings) = 15 - 4.5 = 10.5 ml of plain pg to add
    :w00t:
Damn how I wish I had you for a math teacher! Copy cut pasted to NotePad

Have you seen Billy Corben's documentary "....... Cowboys"? It's a superb re-telling of those days in Miami. As you know, it was truly out of control.

Oh yeah, my brother in-law was in the texture coating business. He did most of their houses for them back then. It's a very good documentary, a behind the scenes look about the big boys (or girls when you consider Giselda Blanco) who all got rich off the misery. My next door neighbor was one of the infamous Miami Cops that were involved in the corrupt Miami River Cop case.

Going to make Carnitas in the Ninja Foodi today. Cut up some pork ...., add some stuff like squeezed orange halves and garlic and some spices and pressure cook for 20 min in the orange juice and some chicken broth. Then saute (after removing orange and garlic) until the liquid reduces, the broil for 8 minutes. All in the Foodi. I made it before and it was excellent - the wife kept saying "OMG" and eating more, it didn't last long.

Stay healthy! I don't mean to offend I was just curious with liver disease and transplants. My curious mind is always searching for info. Thanks for replying.

I sure don't mind. I am on a tiny dose now, just enough to keep the rejection away. I had a liver biopsy earlier in the year and all was good.
